Laterally translating seat pedestal

A vehicle includes a vehicle interior having opposed first and second sides and a support surface disposed therebetween. A track system is laterally disposed on the support surface. A seat pedestal includes a base portion supported on the track system for lateral movement within the vehicle interior. The seat pedestal further includes a seat portion rotatably supported on the base portion. A first interior trim member includes an outer surface facing inwardly into the vehicle interior in a lateral direction. The first interior trim member includes a seatback integrated into the outer surface thereof. A second interior trim member includes an outer surface facing inwardly into the vehicle interior in a rearward direction. The second interior trim member includes a seatback integrated into the outer surface thereof.

DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY FOR DELIVERY VEHICLE

A vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, a door coupled to the cab and selectively repositionable relative to the chassis between an open position and a closed position, and a door lock assembly configured to selectively prevent movement of the door from the closed position to the open position. The door lock assembly defines a key aperture configured to receive a key. The door lock assembly is coupled to the cab, and wherein the key aperture is positioned forward of the door.

Rear vehicle-body structure of vehicle

A rear vehicle-body structure comprises a rear-floor front part on which a rear seat is placed and which is inclined such that a front side thereof is located at a higher level than a rear side thereof, a right-and-left reinforcing extension having a rear end that is positioned on both sides, in a vehicle width direction, of the rear-floor front part. The right-and-left reinforcing extension extends forwardly and inwardly, in the vehicle width direction, from the rear end. The rear vehicle-body structure further includes a right-and-left second reinforcing extension provided on an outward side in the vehicle width direction of the right-and-left first reinforcing extension, and is configured to extend forwardly and outwardly in the vehicle width direction from a vicinity of the rear end of the right-and-left first reinforcing extension.

Aspects of the disclosure relate cleaning systems for cleaning cabin air and interior surfaces of a vehicle. For instance, a cleaning system may include a surface cleaning device including a UVC light source. In addition, a request for confirmation that the vehicle may not be occupied may be sent to a remote computing device. In response to the request, a signal indicating whether or not the vehicle is occupied may be received. The surface cleaning device may then be activated based on the signal.

Seat Attachment System for a Mass Transit Vehicle
20220001771 · 2022-01-06 ·

A seat attachment system for a mass transit vehicle including a rail, a fastener and a seat interface. The rail, which is adapted to be secured to a chassis of the mass transit vehicle, has a longitudinal T-slot adapted to receive the fastener. The rail has two non-parallel sets of corrugations on its external face. The seat interface, which is adapted to be mounted to a seat frame, is also provided with two non-parallel sets of corrugations whose angle matches that of the sets of corrugations on the rail. The sets of corrugations are adapted to cooperate and interlock in pairs so as to respectively locate the seat interface, and thereby a seat to which it is attached, vertically and horizontally upon the fastener being tightened.

TRACK ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE

A track assembly for a rail-mounted component of a vehicle includes a rail cartridge slidably coupled with a track and defines a first slot. A first electrical connector is positioned within the rail cartridge. A connection cartridge defines a channel. The connection cartridge includes first and second sidewalls joined by a bottom wall. A second electrical connector is positioned within the channel and is configured to selectively engage with the first electrical connector. An actuation member is positioned within the channel and is movable between first and second positions. The actuation member is biased to the first position. An actuator is operably coupled with the actuation member to selectively move the actuation member into the second position against the bias.
