GEARING ARRANGEMENT FOR A SPINDLE DRIVE ARRANGEMENT, SPINDLE DRIVE ARRANGEMENT, AND VEHICLE SEAT
A gearing arrangement for a spindle drive arrangement may have a gearing housing and a gearing holder. The gearing holder may have at least two receiving openings, one for each fastening screw or one for each fastening bolt for fastening to another component, in particular to a vehicle seat. The at least two receiving openings may be oriented at right-angles and/or obliquely with respect to one another. A spindle drive arrangement having such a gearing arrangement, and also to a vehicle seat having such a spindle drive arrangement is also provided.
Motor vehicle and method of controlling a suspension system
A display unit in a motor vehicle presents information to a first user located in a personnel site. A frame carries the personnel site and a suspension system between the frame and the personnel site has at least one adjustable suspension characteristic. While the motor vehicle is being operated, a control system repeatedly determines a first gaze point of the first user on the display unit. Variations in a position for the first gaze point over time are analyzed; and in response thereto, the control system generates a first control signal to the suspension system so as to reduce a fluctuation of the position for the first gaze point, if a repositioning of the first gaze point is out of synchronization with a displacement of the display unit.
Long rail assembly with side opening for vehicle seat adjustment
A long rail assembly attached to a vehicle floor for repositioning vehicle seats in a vehicle between a plurality of seating positions. The long rail assembly includes a fixed long rail having a C-shaped cross-section in profile and an elongated opening in a side wall of the long rail, a power rail drive module configured to travel along an interior of the long rail and having at least one striker extending laterally away from the rail drive module through the elongated opening in the side wall of the long rail, and a vehicle seat having at least one leg releasably coupled to the at least one striker by a seat latch assembly.
Power seat track assembly
A power seat track assembly may include an elongated first rail, a second rail, a motor assembly, and a power-transfer assembly. The second rail may engage the first rail and may be movable along a length of the first rail. The motor assembly may be mounted to the second rail and may be operable to drive the second rail along the length of the first rail. The power-transfer assembly may include a first component mounted to the first rail and a second component mounted to the second rail. The first component may wirelessly transmit power to the second component. The second component may be electrically connected to the motor assembly to provide electrical current to the motor assembly.
Electropneumatic switch arrangement
An electropneumatic switch arrangement having an actuation device plurality of pneumatic outlets for connection to fluid-fillable devices, and a pneumatic supply connection for connection to a pressure source, the actuation device being connected to a sealing device, the actuation device being designed in such a way that, when it is actuated, it opens a predefined flow path between the supply connection and at least one of the outlets and, in doing so, closes a current path for actuating the pressure source, characterized in that the sealing device is mechanically coupled to the actuation device in such a way that at least a part of the sealing device is moved, in particular displaced, by the actuation device when this is actuated, thereby opening a flow path between the supply connection and at least one of the outlets.
Roof airbag system and vehicle
A roof airbag system includes a roof airbag, a lifting mechanism, a collision sensor, memory, and a processor coupled to the memory. The roof airbag is provided at a roof portion of a vehicle, receives a supply of gas from an inflator and deploys toward an upper body side of a vehicle occupant sitting on a vehicle seat. The lifting mechanism is provided at a seat cushion side of the vehicle seat and lifts a thigh area of the vehicle occupant. A collision sensor detects a collision of the vehicle. The processor is configured to, when a seat back of the vehicle seat is tilted more than a predetermined angle to the seat rear side and the collision sensor detects a collision of the vehicle, control the lifting mechanism to lift the thigh area of the vehicle occupant and control operation of the inflator to deploy the roof airbag.
Power seat operating device having seesaw type switch for vehicle
A power seat operating device for a vehicle has a switch module for operating a power seat of the vehicle. In particular, the switch module includes a plurality of seesaw type switches to control operation directions of the power seat, and the operation directions of the power seat according to the operation of each switch is displayed with arrows on a display, thereby improving the switch operating convenience of the user such as accurately controlling the operation direction of the power seat according to the switch operation by the user, and accurately recognizing a selection state and an operation direction of the switch desired by the user.
Seating assembly for a vehicle
A seating assembly comprises a calf rest coupled to a seat base and having a body that comprises a first trough that extends from a first exterior peak to an interior peak and a second trough that extends from a second exterior peak to the interior peak. The seating assembly also comprises a wire that extends across the first trough from the first exterior peak to the interior peak, the wire being operable between an at rest condition and a contracted condition, wherein movement of the wire from the at rest condition to the contracted condition moves a portion of the wire between the first exterior peak and the interior peak away from a bottom of the first trough. The seating assembly further comprises a controller that prompts electrical current to be supplied to the wire to move the wire from the at rest condition to the contracted condition.
Method for operating a safety system for a seat system of a motor vehicle, and safety system for a seat system of a motor vehicle
A detection is made as to whether a vehicle occupant seated on a vehicle seat of a seating system of a motor vehicle has put on a pair of electronic data glasses. If the vehicle occupant has put on a pair of electronic data glasses, a check is performed to determine whether a predetermined minimum distance exists between the vehicle seat and an interior component of the motor vehicle. If the minimum distance exists, an adjustment range of the seating system is restricted in such a way that it is not possible to fall below the minimum distance. If the minimum distance does not exist, the minimum distance is established by automatically adjusting the seating system and/or outputting a message relating to the noncompliance with the minimum distance.
Rail for vehicle seat and vehicle seat comprising such a rail
A rail for a vehicle seat having first and second sliding rail members driven by a motorized drive mechanism. The rail further comprises a mechanical lock actuated by a relative movement between the motorized drive mechanism and the second rail member in the event of an accident.
