The present invention relates to a military vehicle (V). Said military vehicle comprises an aiming device (D) and an aiming operation arrangement (A) for a vehicle operator (O) to operate the aiming device (D). Said aiming operation arrangement (A) comprises a support device (40) for providing support for the operator (O) when operating the aiming device (D). The support device (40) comprises one or more fixation devices (44A, 44B, 44C, 44D) operable between a non-fixated state and fixated state, said one or more fixation devices (44A, 44B, 44C, 44D) being configured to, in the fixated state, provide fixation of one or more body parts of the vehicle operator (O) so as to reduce influence of vehicle movement during aiming operation.

A car sickness inhibition device includes: a memory and a processor connected to the memory, the processor being configured to: acquire an acceleration a in a front-rear direction of a vehicle or angles of inclination θ of the head and upper body of an occupant sitting in a seat of the vehicle; and by using expression θ>tan.sup.−1(a/g).Math.(1), where g denotes gravitational acceleration, obtain from the acquired acceleration a an angle of inclination θ0 with which car sickness is inhibited, or obtain an acceleration a0 with which car sickness is inhibited.

A vehicle seat configured to accommodate at least two users, comprising a base, and a seating portion frame comprising at least two seating areas, a first and a second backrest which are pivotally hinged to the base, wherein the seat further comprises a connection system connecting the first backrest to the seating portion frame, configured so that the pivoting of the first backrest relative to the base causes the simultaneous movement of the seating portion frame relative to the base, and wherein the second width portion of the seating portion frame is connected to the base, by means of a connection mechanism, configured to enable movement of the seating portion frame relative to the base during the movement of the seating portion frame relative to the base.

A vehicle includes an engine, at least three wheels including a front wheel and a rear wheel, a fuel tank above the engine, a seat rearward of the fuel tank, a canister positioned lower than the fuel tank, and a vent hose to supply air therethrough into the canister to desorb the adsorbed fuel evaporative emission from the canister. An upstream end of the drain hose is connected to the vent hose. A downstream end of the drain hose is positioned lower than the canister.

COMBINATION ENERGY IMPACT ATTENUATION, VIBRATION MITIGATION AND FLOTATION DEVICE FOR AIRCRAFT SEATING APPLICATIONS
A combination adaptive energy absorption and emergency flotation device for positioning beneath a plurality of seat pans of a seat assembly in an aircraft seating application. The device includes a plurality of fluidly coupled inflatable elastic bladders, at least one constrictor valve fluidly coupling at least two adjacent ones of the plurality of inflatable elastic bladders allowing fluid flow therethrough in response to predetermined pressure on the device from the plurality of seat pans, and a fluid supply source fluidly coupled to the plurality of inflatable elastic bladders for outputting a positive flow of fluid to the plurality of inflatable elastic bladders, wherein the adaptive energy absorption device is detached from the plurality of seat pans to allow removal from beneath the plurality of seat pans for use as an emergency flotation device.
GROUNDS MAINTENANCE VEHICLE WITH ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Suspension systems and grounds maintenance vehicles incorporating the same are disclosed. The suspension system may include biasing elements or springs that may be adjusted to vary the preload and thus change the spring and dampening characteristics of the suspension system. In some embodiments, the system may include an adjustment mechanism that permits simultaneous adjustment of two springs via a single action. In other embodiments, features adapted to assist an operator with mounting/dismounting the vehicle are disclosed.
