SEAT BACK FRAME ASSEMBLIES AND SEAT ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING PULTRUSION REINFORCEMENTS
A seat back assembly including a pultrusion reinforcement and a seat back frame formed of a resin material, the seat back frame is only partially overmolded onto the pultrusion reinforcement such that the pultrusion reinforcement is configured to be visually inspected through a plurality of openings formed in the seat back frame.
ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED CUSHION COMPONENT
A cushion component includes a lattice matrix having a first section comprised of a plurality of 3D cells. Each 3D cell of the plurality of 3D cells of the first section of the lattice matrix includes a face-centered cubic geometry. A second section of the lattice matrix is positioned below the first section and includes a plurality of 3D cells. Each 3D cell of the plurality of 3D cells of the second section of the lattice matrix includes a body-centered cubic geometry. The first section and the second section of the lattice matrix are integrated to define a monolithic structure comprised of a common material.
Seat assembly
A seat assembly may include a seat base and/or a seat back. The seat back may be connected to the seat base. The seat back may include a back panel having a plurality of external support members disposed in a grid configuration. The back panel may include a first portion, a second portion, and/or a third portion. The third portion may connect the second portion to the first portion. A method of assembling a seat assembly may include connecting the back panel with the seat back, and/or connecting the seat back to the seat base.
Seat upholstery system
The present disclosure relates to an upholstery system for a vehicle seat, comprising: a foam lining comprising a front face and a rear face, a flexible covering which covers the front face of the foam lining, a rigid part which covers the rear face of the foam lining, at least one series of attachment systems, which are received as inserts in the foam lining, the attachment systems of the series being interconnected by at least one ball joint, and wherein the attachment systems are configured to ensure the attachment of the covering and of the rigid part onto the foam lining.

Seat
A car seat includes an air outlet located in a seat upper portion (a portion provided above a seat cushion and including a seat back and a headrest) to let out air therethrough; an air inlet located in the seat upper portion to draw in air therethrough; at least one fan configured to produce a current of air flowing from the air outlet toward the air inlet at a front side of the seat upper portion; and a scenting device configured to scent air to be forced out through the air outlet. The air outlet and the air inlet are located in such positions that at least part of the headrest is positioned between the air outlet and the air inlet in a direction from the air outlet toward the air inlet as viewed from a front side.
Vehicle seats that include sound cancelation systems
Seats that include sound cancelation systems are described. An example vehicle bench seat has a first backrest, a first speaker, a second backrest, a second speaker, a central portion, and a seat base. The first speaker is disposed within the first backrest and the second speaker is disposed within the second backrest. Each of the first and second speakers emit primary sound waves and secondary sound waves. The secondary sound waves of the first speaker are 180 degrees out of phase with the primary sound waves of the first speaker and the secondary sound waves of the second speaker are 180 degrees out of phase with the primary sound waves of the second speaker. The central portion includes channels that direct the secondary sound waves emitted by the first and second speakers into the vehicle cabin to cancel undesired primary sound waves.

UPHOLSTERY UNIT FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
An upholstery unit (28) for a seat of a motor vehicle has bar-form upholstery elements (30) that can be displaced relative to one another and provide a person with cushioned support. A flexible connecting layer (32) connects the upholstery elements (30) to one another and can be folded into an interspace (34) between adjacent upholstery elements (30). The upholstery element (30) has at least one pocket (36), and at least one pressure-point actuator (38) is inserted in the pocket (36) of the upholstery element (30) to apply a massage pressure to the person through a material of the upholstery element (30). The pressure-point actuators (38) in the accommodating pockets (36) of the upholstery elements (30) can be displaced relative to one another. Thus, a massage function of the upholstery unit (28) is adapted optimally to people of different heights, and provides comfortable seating in a motor vehicle.
