A vehicle seat (S) includes: a side frame (13) which constitutes a side portion of a seat back frame (10); a bracket (20) which includes an attachment portion (21) attached to a side surface of the side frame (13) on a seat inner side and a back protrusion portion (22) protruding backward from the attachment portion (21); and an airbag module (30) which includes a retainer (34) fixed to the back protrusion portion (22).

Aircraft passenger seat with in-flight rocking motion

An aircraft passenger seat construction capable of in-flight rocking motion and berthing, wherein rocking motion and berthing are mutually exclusive features. The seat construction includes a fixed frame including spaced frame members each having a support surface to be rocked on, a rocking frame including a seat pan and spaced rockers, the spaced rockers positioned to rock on the support surfaces, guides carried on the spaced rockers engaged to travel within guide slots of the spaced frame members, a backrest pivotally attached to the rocking frame, and a leg rest pivotally attached to the rocking frame. The rocking frame may rock back-and-forth in-flight or may be locked at any given position based on passenger preference. The seat construction is compatible with or without other seat adjustment mechanisms such as tracking, swivel, lie-flat and recline adjustment mechanisms.

A seat assembly includes a first frame with a guide member extending outwardly along a first axis. A second frame has a second guide member extending outwardly. One of the first and second guide members is received in translation along the first axis by the other of the first and second guide members to connect the second frame to the first frame. A first locking element is engaged to couple the first frame to the second frame and limit translational movement of the first frame relative to the second frame. A method of assembling a seat assembly is also provided.
