A backrest recline mechanism including a first shaft attachable to a first seat assembly component and a second shaft attachable to a second seat assembly component. The first shaft has a slotted ring defining capture slots and an interior annular space. A control ring has a first end disposed in the annular space. The second shaft is engaged with a second end of the control ring. A first collar, having a plurality of release recesses, is rotatably disposed around the slotted ring. First bearings respectively retained within the capture slots are beneath the first collar. In a first rotational position of the first collar, the plurality of release recesses align with the capture slots to rotationally disengage the first and second components. In a second rotational position, the release recesses misalign with the capture slots to rotationally engage the first and second seat assembly components.

A mobile table assembly of a vehicle includes: a guide rail disposed in a roof of a vehicle; a supporting bar having an upper end coupled to the guide rail and movable along the guide rail, and a lower end extending in a direction away from the roof and positioned in an interior of the vehicle; a rail actuator configured to move the upper end of the supporting bar on the guide rail; and a table coupled to the lower end of the supporting bar.

A vehicle includes a first seat, a second seat, and an article placement part. The first seat and the second seat are disposed to face each other in a vehicle room. The article placement part is disposed around at least one of the first seat and the second seat. A high contrast part having a high brightness and a high saturation relative to another interior component is provided on a member surface which becomes a back portion of an article that is placed on the article placement part.

A table system for means of transport includes a supporting surface, a frame supporting the supporting surface, the frame having a beam, and connecting structure designed to stably connect the frame at least to one between a wall and a floor of a means of transport. The beam has a central body with longitudinal extension and at least a first portion curved at 90°.

A trailer truck is the combination of a truck and one or more trailers used to haul freight. A trailer attaches to the truck via a trailer coupling (hitch), with much of its weight borne by the truck. The result is that both the truck and the trailer will have a distinctly different design than a rigid truck and trailer. A rail vehicle is provided with an open passenger space equipped with a perch seat assembly. The perch seat assembly includes a perch seat, a table, and a transition portion joining the table to the perch seat. The table has a horizontal working surface which extends from a wall so that at least a portion of the table extends in front of the perch seat. The transition surface provides a continuous surface between the perch seat surface and the table surface so as to provide a smooth transition.

A half-movable console for a vehicle is provided. The half-movable console includes a base console fixedly mounted to a floor panel, a moving console coupled to a top of the base console such that the moving console is slidable in forward and rearward directions, and a protector disposed at a front side of the moving console while being mounted to the base console such that the protector is movable in the forward and rearward directions while being adjustable in tilting angle. In accordance with this configuration, the half-movable console is usable for various purposes within a limited passenger compartment in the vehicle.

An automobile, includes: a table stowed at a ceiling of a vehicle cabin; and a table raising and lowering apparatus configured to, resulting from a predetermined operation, raise and lower the table between a usage position at a seat front side of a vehicle occupant seated on a vehicle seat and a stowage position at which the table is stowed at the ceiling.

A vehicle track assembly includes a conductive rail coupled to the track assembly. The conductive rail includes an electrically insulative substrate and one or more conductive strips attached to the substrate. The vehicle track assembly further includes a track-mounted component electrically coupled to the conductive rail. The track-mounted component includes a cantilevered biasing member and one or more electrical contacts. The cantilevered biasing member biases the one or more electrical contacts toward the one or more conductive strips to maintain an electrical connection between the one or more electrical contacts and the one or more conductive strips as the track-mounted component is moved along the conductive rail.
