ENERGY ABSORBING TABLE FOR VEHICLES
An energy absorbing table includes a support assembly and a table assembly. The support assembly includes a sidewall support that mounts to a sidewall, a support post that attaches to a floor, and a table support assembly coupled to the sidewall support and the support post. The table assembly includes a tabletop, at least one energy absorbing assembly, and at least one linear guide assembly. The at least one energy absorbing assembly includes a pair of plunger assemblies secured to the tabletop, and a crush chamber assembly secured to the table support assembly. The crush chamber assembly is configured to slidably receive an end portion of each of the pair of plunger assemblies and includes a pair of energy absorption cores. The at least one linear guide assembly includes a linear guide secured to the tabletop, and a pair of mounts secured to the table support assembly.
Automated vehicle seats
Systems, methods, tangible non-transitory computer-readable media, and devices associated with the operation of a vehicle are provided. For example a vehicle computing system can receive occupancy data that includes information associated with occupancy of a vehicle that includes seats. One or more states of the vehicle can be determined. The states of the vehicle can include a disposition of any object that is within the vehicle. Further, a configuration of the seats in the vehicle can be determined based on the occupancy data and the states of the vehicle. The configuration can include a disposition of the seats inside the vehicle. Furthermore, at least one of the seats can be adjusted based on the configuration that was determined.
Movable support surfaces
A support surface includes a table top, a movement stage, a movement actuator, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The movement stage is coupled to the table top and configured to couple to a structure. The movement stage is further configured to permit the table top to move in a degree of freedom. The movement actuator is operable to move the table top in the degree of freedom. The first sensor is for receiving a first user input. The second sensor is for receiving a second user input. The controller operates the movement actuator to move the table top according to the first user input received by the first sensor when the second user input is simultaneously received by the second sensor.
Deployable table apparatus
A deployable table apparatus for a vehicle includes a support arm and a carrier member. The carrier member is mounted to the support arm and is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. A table is mounted to the carrier member and is pivotable between a first position suitable for stowage and a second position suitable for use. A biasing mechanism is provided for biasing the carrier member towards the extended position. Movement of the carrier member from the extended position to the retracted position is inhibited when the table is in the second position. Pivoting the table to the second position is inhibited when the carrier member is in the retracted position.
Seat with integrated foldable table
Vehicle seat assemblies may be foldable in a plurality of configurations. The seats may be foldable so as to provide a space between a seat bottom and a seat back. Seats may be foldable so as to provide a space in front of the seat bottom and the seat back. A moveable table may be a component of the seat assembly in the vehicle, with the table operable to provide a relatively flat surface when in an operative position. The table may utilize the space provided between the seat bottom and the seat back and/or the space provided in front of the seat bottom and the seat back when in the operative position. Additionally, the table may be stowed under the seat when not in use.
Vehicle trunk table
The vehicle trunk table is a folding table. The vehicle trunk table is formed with a form factor such that the will fit flush within the footprint of a trunk floor. The vehicle trunk table forms a raised supporting surface that covers the trunk floor. The vehicle trunk table is customized for an individual make and model of a vehicle. The vehicle trunk table can be extended to form a table. The vehicle trunk table includes a first leaf, a second leaf, a first support, a second support, and a hinge. The hinge attaches the first leaf and the second leaf. The first leaf and the second leaf from a flush horizontal surface that forms the superior surface of the vehicle trunk table. The first support and the second support raise the first leaf and the second leaf above the supporting surface.
TRAILER TABLE STORAGE COMPARTMENT
A trailer chassis includes a first frame beam, a second frame beam parallel to and spaced from the first frame beam, and a plurality of cross members connected between the first frame beam and the second frame beam. A storage compartment for a folding table or the like is cooperable with the first and second frame beams.
Tailgate Retractable Platform Apparatus
A retractable tailgate table provides a folding table structure that is operable from the tailgate of a vehicle, so as to expand the functionality of the vehicle by providing a supportive and adjustable table that can be retracted for stowage or folded out from the tailgate for operational usage from the tailgate. The table comprises a mounting plate that fixedly mounts to the tailgate. The mounting plate may include a channel that enables a strap to wrap around the tailgate and through the channel for detachable attachment. A hinged arm hingedly articulates from the tailgate to move the table between a stowed position and an operational position. A platform pivotally joins the hinged arm, providing a supportive surface therefrom. The platform pivots to a desired slope and slides to and from the tailgate. A stabilizer bar extends from the platform to the ground surface to provide vertical and lateral stability.
HIDDEN FOLDABLE TRAY TABLE
The present disclosure is directed to a table that may be selectively stored in a portion of a vehicle console. An outer housing member having a storage cavity therein attaches to a side of the vehicle console. A support shaft supporting a table is mounted for sliding and rotational movement with respect to the vehicle console. The support shaft is slidable in a first direction from a storage position wherein the table is positioned in a vertical orientation in the cavity of the outer housing member. The support shaft is also rotatable 270 degrees from the storage position to move the table into a horizontal use position after removal from the storage position.
Side table assembly for vehicle seat
A side table assembly for a vehicle seat includes a table on which a cup holder inserting part is formed, a body arranged on a side face of the vehicle seat, a joint hinge device coupled between the body and the table to allow the table to be rotated with respect to the body; and a cup holder having an opened upper face and a closed lower face and coupled to the cup holder inserting part. The joint hinge device includes a joint hinge connected to the table at one side and connected to the body at another side, a hinge spring inserted into the joint hinge to elastically support the joint hinge, and a hinge cylinder having one side inserted into the joint hinge and being in contact with the hinge spring and another side inserted into by the body.
