In the case of a baby-changing mat (10) having an upper side (11), a lower side (12), a first and a second lateral delimitation (13, 14), said lateral delimitations (13, 14) being mutually opposite, and a front end (15) and a rear end (16), said ends (15, 16) being aligned so as to be transverse to the first and the second lateral delimitation (13, 14), the invention provides that the front end in comparison to the rear end has a taper. Moreover, the invention relates to a baby-changing device (1) having such a baby-changing mat (10), and a straightening device (50) by way of which the baby-changing mat (10) over a geodetically oblique support surface (U) is alignable so as to be geodetically straight. The invention furthermore relates to the use of the baby-changing mat (10) and of the baby-changing device (1).

According to an embodiment of the invention, there is provided a drop down sleeper cabin for a motor vehicle, comprising: a sleeping surface, the sleeping section comprising an extendible surface covered with a mattress; and a cover panel, the cover panel having a moveable engagement system to lock the cover panel to the sleeping surface, wherein the sleeping surface is moveable from an upper position engaging the cover panel to a lower position disengaged from the cover pane and wherein the sleeper cabin provides a storage space when in the upper position and a human-sized sleeping area when in the lower position.

A recreational vehicle includes a convertible furniture system positioned in a storage area. The convertible furniture system includes a lift system, attachment hardware, and a convertible furniture piece. The lift system includes a platform movably coupled to a set of rails and movable along a length of the rails. The convertible furniture piece includes a pair of side support frames each pivotally attached to a base frame to pivot between a countertop configuration and a bed configuration, and a countertop attached to the side support frames. In the countertop configuration, the side support frames extend from the base frame to support the countertop above the base frame. In the bed configuration, the side support frames extend from the base frame to define a planar surface.

A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a vehicle hammock and a thermal energy adjustment device of the vehicle hammock. A method of controlling thermal energy within a hammock includes, among other things, providing a vehicle hammock having a thermal energy adjustment device, and adjusting the thermal energy level of the vehicle hammock based, at least in part, on a thermal energy level outside the vehicle hammock.

Systems, methods, and devices for a vehicle door or window are disclosed herein. A vehicle includes a vehicle body and a cabin located within the body of the vehicle, wherein the cabin includes an interior that is configured to accommodate at least one person. The vehicle includes at least one seat located in the interior of the cabin that is configured for seating a user. The vehicle includes at least one door that provides ingress and egress to the interior of the cabin of the vehicle, and the at least one door is located with respect to the body such that the door opens to provide ingress and egress into the cabin from a backside of the seat.

At least one embodiment of the inventive technology may be a disassemblable platform system in a pickup truck cab, or other vehicle, such as, but not limited to, a SUV or van that (after installation), comprises: a plurality of panels (generally, 40, as installed) relatively positioned to form a flat, raised rigid platform 41 in a pickup truck cab and that is elevated above lower seat cushions, where such panels include two rear panels 1,2 (i.e., in the rear seat area), a driver area panel 3, a passenger area panel 6, and a console area panel 42 between said driver area panel and said passenger area panel. The system further includes horizontal supports 43 that underlie at least some of said panels, such horizontal supports including at least two right-left horizontal support bars 44 (i.e., a horizontal support bar that is installed in a right-left direction defined by the vehicle); and panel-attached horizontal supports 45, each of which is attached to a panel to which it is dedicated.

A platform that connects to the seat brackets on the floor of a vehicle by a clamping mechanism actuated by a rotatable bolt that extends from the planar top face of the platform. The platform is made in front and rear frame portions that are hingedly attached. The platform is convertible from a folded storage position to a lockable vertical configuration to form a barrier in the cargo compartment of the vehicle, or to a fully extended horizontal configuration to form a table/sleeping platform that extends from the rear of the vehicle. A lockable, extendable ladder pivots from the back frame portion to stabilize the platform onto the ground. Adjustable legs on the frame portions enable the top faces of the two frame portions to be made coplanar.

A reconfigurable, modular bed system for use in recreational vehicles. The system includes one or more bed platforms that can support a mattress and can be repositioned or removed as desired. The bed platforms are vertically supported by a vertical track system that is secured to one or more walls in the recreational vehicle. The track system comprises a plurality of vertical tracks having a plurality of aligned openings to receive various brackets. The brackets are designed with upper and lower extensions for hooking into any of the openings in the rails. The bed platforms can be used as a desk, workbench, or other work surface when the mattress is removed. The system provides a multitude of ways to customize or reconfigure the space based on the end user's requirements.

A platform that connects to the seat brackets on the floor of a vehicle by a clamping mechanism actuated by a rotatable bolt that extends from the planar top face of the platform. The platform is made in front and rear frame portions that are hingedly attached. The platform is convertible from a folded storage position to a lockable vertical configuration to form a barrier in the cargo compartment of the vehicle, or to a fully extended horizontal configuration to form a table/sleeping platform that extends from the rear of the vehicle. A lockable, extendable ladder pivots from the back frame portion to stabilize the platform onto the ground. Adjustable legs on the frame portions enable the top faces of the two frame portions to be made coplanar.

Described is a portable bed for outdoor use by a dog or other large pet which is movement-resistant when placed on a ferromagnetic surface such as a truck bed. The bed includes a durable removable outer cover suitable for exposure to inclement weather and an inner cushioning element received within the outer cover which may be a dog bed suitable for indoor use. At least a portion of the outer cover comprises a material producing a sufficiently strong magnetic field to impede or prevent the bed from shifting or otherwise moving on the ferromagnetic surface. This may prevent or at least measurably reduce shifting or other movement of the portable dog bed in a truck bed when the vehicle accelerates, breaks or turns. Alternatively, the portable bed may be configured for use as an insert in a dog crate with an optional top spill pad for convenient removal and cleaning.
