VEHICLE SOFA-BED AND METHOD OF USE
An adjustable sofa-bed assembly for use within a vehicle such as a van or RV. The sofa-bed includes a seat portion, a back portion, and either a permanently fixed base or a removable leg portion which allows the legs to be installed into the vehicle prior to installing the seat and back portions to allow for additional elements to be installed beneath the sofa-bed, such as power elements for a powered sofa-bed assembly or for other equipment. The sofa-bed can be transformed from a sofa configuration with an upright back portion to a bed configuration with a laid-flat back portion. When in the bed configuration, the seat portion and back portion are aligned such that there is no gap between the two portions and the two portions lie completely flat, forming a complete bed assembly.
Hitch coupling assembly for coupling an accessory to a vehicle
A hitch coupling assembly that is used to couple an accessory to a vehicle is described. The hitch coupling assembly includes a receiver tube and a receiver wedge assembly. The receiver tube and the receiver wedge assembly are coupled to each other using a tightening bolt. The receiver tube, receiver wedge assembly, and tightening bolt are then inserted into a hitch receiver of a vehicle, and the tightening bolt is tightened to couple the hitch coupling assembly to the hitch receiver. A receiver lock can be used to lock the hitch coupling assembly into the hitch receiver. An accessory rack or other accessory that is coupled to the hitch coupling assembly is coupled to the hitch receiver and the vehicle by coupling the hitch coupling assembly to the hitch receiver.
RECONFIGURABLE VEHICLE CUSTOMIZATION SYSTEM
A reconfigurable vehicle customization system including a frame and at least one modular component. The frame includes a plurality of side members configured to be fixedly coupled to an interior of a motor vehicle using existing attachment points of the motor vehicle and without irreparable modification of the motor vehicle, where each side member of the plurality of side members includes at least one track for receiving a modular component. The at least one modular component is removably couplable to the at least one track of the plurality of side members.
Accessory rack for a vehicle
An accessory rack for a vehicle couples to the hitch receiver of a vehicle to carry accessories on the vehicle. The accessory rack includes a base rack, a hitch coupling assembly, a first swing arm assembly and a second swing arm assembly. The first and second swing arm assemblies are hingedly and removably coupled to the base rack. The first and second swing arm assemblies swing out from the center of the base rack using hinges at the outer ends of the base rack. The first and the second swing arm assemblies carry accessory racks for different types of accessories. The base rack is coupled to the hitch coupling assembly. The hitch coupling assembly couples the base rack and the first and second swing arm assemblies to the hitch receiver of the vehicle.

RESTRAINING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A restraining system for restraining an occupant of a vehicle, the system including: an occupant supporting device for supporting the occupant, the occupant supporting device has a longitudinal direction along which an occupant is intended to be positioned; a blanket including at least one restraint belt each including a first end and a second end attachable to attachment members arranged on either side of the occupant supporting device such that each restraint belt extend in a transverse direction across the occupant supporting device, the attachment members are movable such that the position of each restraint belt is adjustable in the longitudinal direction, an activation control unit configured to receive a signal indicative of a vehicle collision, and in response to the received signal control a pre-tension device to increase the tension in the at least one restraint belt.
Lifting Device with Ropes for Beds in Recreational Vehicles
The device (1) activates a lifting mechanism (2) with ropes (21, 22, 23, 24) of a suspended bed (3), with the same ropes (21, 22, 23, 24) deflected below the supporting frame (20) of the bed (3) and fixed to a common draw hook (26), moved by the device (1), in which are provided: a pulley (4), rotatable horizontally under the supporting frame (20); a cogwheel (40), integral with the pulley (4); a gas spring (5), with a rack (50) engaged with said cogwheel (40) to operate it in rotation; a flexible cable (6), secured with one end to the pulley (4) and partially wound on the latter, and secured with the remaining end to the draw hook (26). The lifting of the bed (3) takes place with the rotation of the pulley (4) pushed by the gas spring (5), whereby the flexible cable (6) pulls the draw hook (26) causing the dragging of the ropes (21, 22, 23, 24); in the lowering, vice versa, the ropes (21, 22, 23, 24) drag in the opposite direction the draw hook (26) which, in turn, pulls the flexible cable (6), thus rotating the pulley (4) in the opposite direction and reloading the gas spring (5).
