A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat, a seatback operatively coupled to the seat, and an assist handle located on the seat back, wherein the assist handle is releasable from a stowed position and pivotable outward to a first deployed position and rotatable laterally to a second deployed position. The vehicle seat assembly also includes a release mechanism configured to release the assist handle from at least one of the stowed position and the second deployed position, the release mechanism comprising a bias feature to bias the assist handle towards the first deployed position or the stowed position.
SYSTEM FOR AN ASSIST POCKET
Systems are provided for an assist pocket. In particular, an assist pocket formed into a vehicle pillar. Certain embodiments of the assist pocket may include a depression formed into the vehicle pillar dimensioned to accept fingers of an occupant, where a grip is formed along an edge of the depression and extends partially over the pocket. The assist pocket may be formed to help occupants ingress and egress a vehicle.

A luggage hook provided in an interior portion of a vehicle includes a hook configured to be coupled to the interior portion so as to be rotatable about an axis extending in a lateral direction of the vehicle, a bezel including a frame configured to be fixed to the interior portion and to be attached around the hook, and a metal stopping portion joined to the frame of the interior portion and configured to, at a use position, stop rotation of the hook in a deployment direction protruding from the bezel. A direction in which the rotation of the hook is stopped by the stopping portion is the same as a rotation direction in which the hook is pressed about the axis as an object is hooked at the use position.
