An A-pillar grab handle attachment bracket configured to connect a grab handle to an A-pillar structure of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The bracket comprises a first flange, a second flange, and a body portion connecting the first and second flanges. The first flange is configured to couple to the grab handle and the second flange is configured to couple to the A-pillar structure of the motor vehicle. The first and second flanges are spaced apart and the body portion extends between the first and second flanges and at least partially defines a channel configured to receive an inflatable portion of a side air curtain bag of the motor vehicle, such that the inflatable portion of the airbag deploys through an open side of the channel between the first and second flanges.

A hand pole and socket arrangement (1) for use in a passenger service vehicle includes a hand pole (3) having a first end (2) and a first socket (4) for fitting to a passenger vehicle and for receiving the first end of the hand pole. The first end (2) of the hand pole and the first socket (4) are formed and arranged to prevent rotation of the hand pole relative to the socket when they are fitted together. The present invention relates generally to an extendible and retractable hand hold device for use on golf carts and other transportation vehicles by children and smaller adults to add increased stability and safety. The extendable and retractable hand hold device is securely mounted to the roof of a typical golf cart. The hand hold device has a graspable handle on one end, a length-adjustable shaft and a hinge on the other end. The hinged end is further connected to a mounting plate for securing the device to the roof of the cart. The device is rotatable downward from a stored position where it is flat along the underside of the roof, to an in-use position where it is extending downwardly from the roof to a position that is reachable by any size golf cart user or occupant.
