SMART LUGGAGE SYSTEMS
20170220040 · 2017-08-03 ·

Smart luggage systems are disclosed. A smart luggage system includes a luggage bag including one or more wheels, one or more processors, one or more memory modules, one or more wheel actuators, one or more GPS units, and machine readable instructions stored in the one or more memory modules. When executed by the one or more processors, the machine readable instructions cause the smart luggage system to determine a location of a user, determine a location of the luggage bag based on an output signal from the one or more GPS units, and actuate the one or more wheel actuators to move the luggage bag based on the location of the user and the location of the luggage bag.

An entrance handrail includes: a base portion provided proximal to an entrance opening of a vehicle so as to be turnable; a handrail body that extends from the base portion; and a rail portion that extends from the base portion and that holds a second end portion of a link arm such that the second end portion is slidable. A first end portion of the link arm is turnably attached to a slide door that is movable along an outer wall surface of the vehicle to open and close the entrance opening. The handrail body and the rail portion project outward of the vehicle when the slide door opens the entrance opening. The handrail body and the rail portion are disposed to extend along the slide door when the slide door closes the entrance opening.

INTEGRATED ASSIST HANDLE

A door assembly includes a door frame, which generally defines a door opening. An assist handle is movably attached to the door frame. The assist handle is movable between a retracted position, proximal to the door frame, and a deployed position, distal from the door frame.

TRUCK BED ASSIST HANDLE

An assist handle assembly includes a bracket, and a handle. The bracket includes a tubular portion concentric with and extending along a vertical axis. The handle includes a vertical portion and a horizontal portion. The vertical portion is partially disposed within and supported by the tubular portion, and is concentric with and extends along the vertical axis. The horizontal portion extends from an upper end of the vertical portion in a direction that is transverse to the vertical axis. The handle is rotatable about the vertical axis between a stowed position and an intermediate position, and is slideable axially along the vertical axis within the tubular portion of the bracket, between the intermediate position and a deployed position. A latching mechanism secures the handle relative to the bracket when in the deployed position.

Vehicle cabin structure

A vehicle cabin structure includes a vehicle cabin and a handrail having an inverted U-shape and including an upper portion extending in a width direction of a vehicle along a ceiling surface of the vehicle cabin, and right and left vertical portions connected to both ends of the upper portion and extending downward along right and left side surfaces of the vehicle cabin from the respective ends of the upper portion, in which the right and left vertical portions of the handrail are fixed to the right and left side surfaces of the vehicle cabin, respectively.

Variable handle device for getting on and off a vehicle

A variable handle device for getting on and off a vehicle includes a grip body assembly installed to a vehicle body of a vehicle, the grip body assembly configured to be rotated and protruded to an outside of the vehicle body when a door is opened and to be pushed by the door to return to an inside of the vehicle body when the door is closed, a grip body rotation mechanism configured to generate a driving force for rotating the grip body assembly to the outside of the vehicle body when the grip body assembly returns to the inside of the vehicle body, and a grip handle assembled slidably to an outside surface of the grip body assembly along the grip body assembly.

Work vehicle

A work vehicle includes a driver's step, a driver's seat disposed further rearward than the driver's step and between left and right rear traveling units, a steering wheel disposed in front of the driver's seat, left and right fenders that cover both of the rear traveling units from above; a boarding section that enables boarding and deboarding to and from the driver's step at a position on a front side of at least one of the fenders, and a gripping portion that is provided on a forward portion of the boarding section and is graspable to a driver when boarding and deboarding. The gripping portion is configured to have an inclined posture that is positioned further forward toward the outward side of the vehicle body, in a plan view.

HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE

A handle assembly for a vehicle includes a rail. The rail includes retention flanges that each define a channel. A handle is disposed within the channel and is operably coupled to the rail. The handle includes a body that defines a grasping portion and at least one attachment end. A latch feature is operably coupled to the at least one attachment end of the handle. The latch feature includes a retention member that is coupled to a pivot feature. The latch feature also includes a lever. A cable is operably coupled to the lever of the latch feature and is configured to translate the latch feature between an engaged position and a retracted position.
