Guide tube systems and methods
Disclosed herein are various systems and methods for guiding, supporting, and/or housing instruments. One exemplary system includes a guide tube having a manipulation section and mated with rails carrying instrument control members. Moving the rails with respect to the guide tube, or another point of reference, can control movement of the manipulation section.
DENTAL INSTRUMENT
A modular cord-less pen-style dental instrument comprising: (a) an elongated body for gripping and holding the instrument, which has a connector portion at the distal end thereof; (b) a wand portion having a proximal end adapted to be releasably connected to the connector portion at the distal end of the elongated body; wherein the dental instrument further comprises a heat flow barrier between the elongated body and the wand portion.
IMAGING CONTROL DEVICE, IMAGING CONTROL METHOD, PROGRAM, AND IMAGING SYSTEM
There is provided an imaging control device, an imaging control method, a program, and an imaging system that enable easy change of a direction in which an image of a subject is captured in a case where imaging is performed using an optical member whose observation optical axis is inclined with respect to a central axis. The imaging control device includes: a rotation axis setting unit that sets a rotation axis on the basis of a pivot point and a point of interest on the subject, the pivot point serving as a fulcrum of the rod-shaped optical member whose observation optical axis is inclined with respect to the central axis and being not positioned on the observation optical axis; and a posture control unit that rotates the optical member around the rotation axis. The present technology can be applied to, for example, an endoscope system.
DYNAMIC INPUT CONTROLS ON A DRIVE-BY-WIRE ENDOSCOPE
An endoscope including a proximal portion, a distal portion selectively articulatable in two planes of articulation, and a user interface disposed on a portion of the proximal portion, the user interface operably coupled to the distal portion such that inputs received on the user interface effectuate articulation of the distal portion, wherein a portion of the user interface is actuatable to inhibit articulation of the distal portion in one plane of articulation of the two planes of articulation via inputs on the user interface.
MOUNT MEMBER AND ENDOSCOPE DEVICE
Provided are a mount member and an endoscope device by which length of cleaning time can be shortened. A mount member 9 includes a first member 91; a second member 92; and a restriction member 93 that restricts the second member 92 from moving in the direction of a first axis L1, by clamping the second member 92 in a manner allowing rotation, through the first member 91, and that has at least one first cutout cut out such as to expose, to the exterior, a part of a contact section 9211 of the second member 92 clamped through the first member 91.
TRYPSIN DETECTION FILM, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, APPLICATION THEREOF, AND TRYPSIN DETECTION KIT
The present application provides a trypsin detection film, a preparation method therefor, application thereof and a trypsin detection kit, which relates to the technical field of trypsin detection. The preparation method for the trypsin detection film comprises the following steps: providing a polymer film substrate; immersing the polymer film substrate in a dye solution to attach a dye to the polymer film substrate, so as to obtain a trypsin detection film.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR UNIFIED ENDOSCOPIC PROCEDURE PERFORMANCE AND VISUALIZATION
The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to an endoscopic devices configured to house a telescope and having a rotating tube configured for the application of suction or laser excision. A flexion cartridge can be provided that allows for the flexion of a laser for positioning in the surgical theater. The rotating tube is configured to rotate the laser around the scope tube.
Endomicroscopic device
An endomicroscopic device, which, in microsurgical operations, enables the deep surgical sites that cannot be seen from a certain angle to become visible. The endomicroscopic device includes a light source to illuminate the surgical site, a microscope lens for taking and magnifying an image of a tissue at the surgical site, a pair of binocular eyepieces for projecting the image to eyes of the surgeon, an endoscopic probe for displaying blind areas outside of a field of view of the at least one microscope lens from different angles in a periscopic manner, an endoscopic probe outlet, and a distal portion located at an end of the endoscopic probe. The distal portion is flexible and can be angled to be directed to different areas, and provides a second periscopic image.
Endoscope
An endoscope is provided with: a wire; a distal end nodal ring, in which the wire is arranged immediately below a first through hole including openings at predetermined positions on the inner circumferential face and an outer circumferential face of the distal end nodal ring; a distal end member including a small diameter portion arranged to be fitted in a distal end side inner circumferential face of the distal end nodal ring and a large diameter portion provided on a distal end side of the small diameter portion, the large diameter portion having a diameter larger than a diameter of the small diameter portion; an accommodating portion formed on an outer circumferential face side of the small diameter portion, the first end portion of the wire being accommodated in the accommodating portion; and a relief portion formed by the accommodating portion extending to the large diameter portion.
Vaginal Speculum
A speculum includes a handle; a lower leaf extending forward and distally from the handle; at least one upper leaf supported on the handle; a lever pivotally coupled to the handle; and a pin extending from the lever and slidably coupled to the at least one upper leaf. Movement of the lever relative to the handle causes the lever to slide the pin and pivotally move the at least one upper leaf relative to the lower leaf from a collapsed position to an open position.
