LONGITUDINAL ADJUSTER AND VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat longitudinal adjuster includes two pairs of rails (10), each including a seat-mounted upper rail (10a) and a structure-mounted lower rail (10b). A first locking element (16a) and a second locking element (16b) block movement of the upper rail relative to the lower rail. The lower rail has apertures (14) and the upper rail has slot openings (12). The locking elements have tooth projections (18), which are guided in the slot openings, and in a locking position, reach through the slot openings and the apertures. In the locking position, the first locking element engages partially in the apertures for the play-free position of the pair of rails. In the locking position, the second locking element is always fully inserted into the apertures. A vehicle seat (1) has a seat part (3), a backrest (5) which is coupled to the seat part and a longitudinal adjuster.
Articulating locking mechanism for a seatback
An articulating locking mechanism includes a support bracket with an upwardly opening receiving slot having an open top portion and closed bottom portion. A spring member is coupled to the support bracket at a mounting portion and includes a ramp portion disposed adjacent to the receiving slot. A pivot member includes a pivot bushing and a rotating mounting shaft extending outwardly from the pivot bushing. The pivot bushing is received in the receiving slot of the support bracket, and is retained by the ramp portion of the spring member when the pivot bushing is fully seated in the receiving slot of the support bracket.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FASTENING A BACKREST COVER TO A VEHICLE SEAT
A device and a method for attaching a backrest cover to a vehicle seat. Provision is made that at least one latching element with which the backrest cover is attached to the vehicle seat in an assembly step is mounted in a floating manner on the backrest cover. In this design, the latching element is movable along a defined guideway relative to the backrest cover.
SCREW-BASED ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM, RAIL COMPRISING SUCH AN ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM, AND SEAT COMPRISING SUCH A RAIL
An adjustment mechanism the includes a screw, a support having first and second transverse walls perpendicular to the screw, a casing having first and second end faces arranged facing the first and second transverse walls and having a nut housing which opens in opposite first and second openings, a first elastomer pad interposed between the first transverse wall of the support and the first end face of the casing, a second elastomer pad interposed between the second transverse wall of the support and the second end face of the casing, a nut screwed onto the screw, a bearing engaged in the second opening of the casing and traversed by the screw. The nut is in rigid abutment against the casing in the direction of the first opening and the bearing is in elastic abutment against the second elastomer pad.
VEHICLE SEAT
An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat that can reduce a runout that occurs in a seat back frame. A seat back frame includes an upper frame part (301), a lower frame part (302), a first side frame part (303), and a second side frame part (301), which are formed as separate components and are joined to each other. The lower frame part (302) is provided in such a manner that a rotational axis (3A) is located on the inner side of the lower frame part (302). The seat back is rotated with respect to the seat cushion about the rotational axis (3A). One end portion in the width direction of the lower panel (305) is joined to the first side frame part (303). The other end portion in the width direction is joined to a second side frame part (304). A lower edge (305B) is joined to the lower frame part (302).
ARMREST
The invention relates to an armrest having a base (11) and an arm support (12) that is displaceable linearly relative to the base (11) over intermediate positions between a first position and a second position in opposite displacement directions (x.sub.1, x.sub.2) along a movement path, having a guide assembly comprising a first guide on the base (11) and a second guide on the arm support (12), that form cooperating guide surfaces movable relative to one another and that limit movement of the arm support (12) relative to the base (11) in at least one direction at right angles to the displacement directions, wherein play is formed between the first guide and the second guide, and wherein in the case of a loading with a force F acting on the arm support, guide surfaces of the first and second guides are in contact.
The special feature is that the guide assembly has at least one elastic bumper block (26) that urges the first guide into contact with the second guide such that the contact is maintained during unloading.
Long rail assembly for vehicle seat adjustment
A long rail assembly attached to a vehicle floor for repositioning vehicle seats in a vehicle between a plurality of seating positions. The long rail assembly includes a fixed long rail having an internal channel, and a power rail drive assembly configured to travel along the internal channel of the fixed long rail. The power rail drive assembly has a rail main body having a lateral driving wheel configured to frictionally and/or meshingly engage with the fixed long rail, an electric motor operatively coupled to the lateral driving wheel, and spring-loaded stability rolling elements attached to the rail main body configured to absorb channel variation as the power rail drive assembly travels along the internal channel of the fixed long rail.
