VEHICLE SEAT HAVING AN ADJUSTMENT FUNCTION
The invention relates to a vehicle seat having a seat part and a backrest part comprising a first backrest portion and a second backrest portion arranged above it in the seat height direction, wherein the second backrest portion is displaceable relative to the first backrest portion by means of a displacement movement directed at least in the seat width direction, wherein in a first displaced position of the second backrest portion a mechanical interaction is formed between the first backrest portion and the second backrest portion, which secures the first displaced position of the second backrest portion and which can be released by means of a force exerted on the second backrest portion and acting in the direction of the displacement movement.
FOLD AND DIVE SEAT FOR VEHICLE
A fold and dive seat for a vehicle is provided with a seat-cushion tilting mechanism, a fold and dive mechanism, and a seatback reclining mechanism so as to simultaneously performed both a seatback reclining operation and a tilting operation of a front portion of a seat cushion. The fold and dive seat reduces by evenly dispersing a body pressure over a passenger's upper body and lower body.
Layered seating system with attachments
A vehicle seat assembly is provided with a structural member adapted to be mounted within a vehicle to provide support to an occupant. The structural member has at least one channel formed therein. A cushion member is provided adjacent to the structural layer. The cushion member has at least one channel formed therethrough. A trim member is secured over the cushion member to form a seating surface. At least one attachment member is mounted to the trim member extending through the at least one channel of the cushion member. The at least one attachment member extends into the at least one channel of the structural member such that at least one of the trim material and the cushion layer is retained on the structural member.
SEAT ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT, AND VEHICLE SEAT
A seat adjustment mechanism for a vehicle seat is provided. The mechanism may have a number of first pairs of rails, where each first pair of rails has an upper rail and a lower rail. The mechanism may also have a number of second pairs of rails with a substantially same acting direction as the number of first pairs of the pairs.
ADDITIVE COLLAPSIBLE SEAT
Devices, systems, and methodologies for vehicle seats include selectively collapsible safety layers providing collapsible support to reduce impulse experienced by the seated passenger imparted by the vehicle seat, which can reduce the likelihood and/or extent of injury attributable to occurrences exceeding threshold momentum changes, such as transportation vehicle collisions.
Backrest part of a vehicle seat having an upper seatback adjustment device
A backrest part for a vehicle seat having a seatback frame in which is arranged an upper seatback adjustment device that allows continuous adjustment in the upper region of the backrest part. Provision is made that the upper seatback adjustment device includes at least one surface element that is movably mounted in the seatback frame and at least one elastic impact absorber integrated into the at least one surface element, which are arranged so as to be jointly adjustable opposite to and in a direction of travel (+/x-direction) with respect to the top section of the seatback frame.
Cushion cover for ventilation seat
A cushion cover for a ventilation seat includes: a first adhesive layer including an upper surface coupled to a lower surface of a cushion part of the ventilation seat, the lower surface of the cushion provided with an air flow channel; a non-permeable layer made of a non-permeable material and including an upper surface coupled to a lower surface of the first adhesive layer to block the air flow channel of the lower surface of the cushion part from outside; and a protective layer coupled to a lower surface of the non-permeable layer to direct friction between the non-permeable layer and a seat structure.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat is provided that can reduce a runout that occurs in a seat back frame. A seat back frame includes an upper frame part (301), a lower frame part (302), a first side frame part (303), and a second side frame part (301), which are formed as separate components and are joined to each other. The lower frame part (302) is provided in such a manner that a rotational axis (3A) is located on the inner side of the lower frame part (302). The seat back is rotated with respect to the seat cushion about the rotational axis (3A). One end portion in the width direction of the lower panel (305) is joined to the first side frame part (303). The other end portion in the width direction is joined to a second side frame part (304). A lower edge (305B) is joined to the lower frame part (302).
Modular seat
An occupant support includes a seat frame and a module assembly. The module assembly is arranged to cover the seat frame.
Electrical Connection System For A Seat
An electrical connecting system for a seat, in particular a passenger seat in a means of transportation, including an elongated carrier foil that is provided at least in regions with conductor tracks, the carrier foil having a first section so as to be arranged on a seat frame, a second section so as to be arranged on a backrest that may pivot and a transition section that lies between said first section and second section, wherein the transition section is embodied as V-shaped. As a consequence, an electrical connection may be achieved between an electronic unit that is arranged on a passenger seat and components that are arranged on the passenger seat.
