ENERGY ABSORBING VEHICLE SEAT
The present disclosure relates to a vehicle seat that includes a seat cushion which is substantially horizontal with respect to a floor of a vehicle. The vehicle seat further includes a seat back including a proximal end and a distal end separated by a longitudinal length, such that the proximal end is pivotably coupled to the seat back. The vehicle seat also includes a track arranged adjacent to the seat cushion and the track has a longitudinal length. The track includes a proximal end and a distal end, such that the proximal end of the track is attached to a biasing element while the distal end of the track is attached to a portion of the seat back. In a crash event, the seat back is displaceable with respect to the seat cushion along the longitudinal length of the track.
VEHICLE SEAT ARRANGEMENT
A vehicle seat arrangement includes a vehicle seat arranged to be adjusted between a forward facing setup and a rearward facing setup and a seat support structure. The vehicle seat has three seat parts, where a second seat part is pivotably connected to both a first seat part and a third seat part. The second seat part is pivotably connected to the seat support structure. In the forward facing setup, the first and second seat parts make up a seat back and the third seat part make up a seat cushion. In the rearward facing setup, the first seat part make up the seat cushion and the second and third seat parts make up the seat back of the vehicle seat.
HEADREST FOR A SEAT AND SEAT
The disclosure refers to a headrest for a seat. The headrest has at least a headrest cushion which is mountable to the seat. The headrest cushion may have an adjustment device configured to at least partially deform a front surface of the headrest cushion along at least one extending direction of the headrest cushion. Further, the disclosure relates to a seat with such a headrest.
Deployable driver station for an autonomous driving vehicle
A deployable driver station including a seat utilizing both a front-facing driver seat bottom and a coupled rear-facing passenger seat bottom. In a driver configuration, the driver seat bottom is used in a conventional manner, being disposed behind the steering wheel or other steering control and the interior panel, while the passenger seat bottom is disposed more centrally within the passenger compartment. In a passenger configuration, the passenger seat bottom is used like the adjacent rear-facing passenger seat bottom(s), when used, while the driver seat bottom is disposed under the interior panel such that it does not take up space in the passenger compartment. Likewise, the steering wheel or other steering control is disposed under the interior panel. A common two-sided pivoting seat back is alternately used for the driver seat or the passenger seat by pivoting to an appropriate angle for the configuration.

Movable vehicle module system
A vehicle module system is disclosed. The system includes a track assembly operably coupled with a body of a vehicle. One or more modules may be removably and slidably coupled with the track assembly. The modules include base structure defining an attachment point. A rail feature is disposed along a bottom portion of the base structure. An attachment feature having a retainer for removably coupling to the attachment point to the base structure.
Vehicle seat
There is provided a vehicle seat including: a seat back frame standing from a seat rear end side of a seat cushion, a left and right pair of cushion frames, the seat back frame being supported to be tiltable in a seat front-and-rear direction, and the seat back frame structuring a framework of a seat back; and a seat back panel that is provided at the seat rear side of the seat back frame, an upper frame structuring an upper end portion at the seat rear side of the seat back frame, an upper end portion of the seat back panel being disposed at the seat upper side relative to the upper frame, and the seat back panel displacing toward the seat lower side when an impact load is applied from the upper side of the seat back.
VEHICLE SEAT, METHOD FOR MOUNTING AUXILIARY SEAT, AND STRUCTURE FOR MOUNTING AUXILIARY SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat, face part, a back face part, and a fixing member for fixing an auxiliary seat, which is disposed between the seat face part and the back face part. The seat face part includes a seat face recess capable of housing a lower face side of a seat part of an auxiliary seat, and a seat face cushion that is detachably attached to the seat face recess. The back face part includes a back face recess capable of housing a rear face side of a back part of the auxiliary seat, and a back face cushion that is detachably attached to the back face recess.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat part; a back part; a drive unit configured to adjust at least; one of a position of the seat part or a position of the back part; and operation switches via which the drive unit is driven, the operation switches being arranged adjacent to the seat part and face upward with respect to the seat part. The operation switches may be arranged on a side of the seat part, the side being adjacent to a door of a vehicle. The drive unit may disable an input from the operation switches if a door detection switch for detecting opening of the door detects that the door is open.
Vehicle seat
Disclosed is a vehicle seat including a first side frame, a second side frame, a first coupling member, a second coupling member, a recliner, a coupling plate, a first fastener and a second fastener to fix the coupling plate to the first side frame by fastening, a first reinforcer to reinforce a first portion, of the first side frame, located in an extending direction center thereof, and a second reinforcer to reinforce a second portion, of the first side frame, surrounding the second coupling member. The first side frame has a low-rigidity portion provided between the first fastener and the second fastener. A thickness of the low-rigidity portion is smaller than a sum of a thickness of the first portion and a thickness of the first reinforcer and than a sum of a thickness of the second portion and a thickness of the second reinforcer.
