Vehicle seat recliner assembly
A mechanism for reclining the seat back of a seat. The seat back is pivotally connected to the seat base is by a locking fixture that selectively locks and releases the seat back from the seat base. A return spring biases the seat back in the upright position and a handle in the area of the pivot point allows the operator/occupant to selectively control whether the seat back is locked or released. The return spring is mounted on an outside of the seat back and seat base, and is in the form of a coil spring. A stop element connects the handle to the locking fixture. The stop element is arranged radially inward of the coil spring. The stop element preferably has a large diameter portion with lugs interacting with the locking fixture, and has a smaller diameter portion arranged radially inward of the coil spring.
Actuating device, in particular for a vehicle seat, and vehicle seat
An actuating device (100) has a first part (5a; 334; 434) and a second part (5b; 310; 412) which can be pivoted about a first axis (A) relative to the first part (5a). A first segment (140) can be coupled to the first part. A second segment (150) can be rotated about the first axis (A) relative to the first segment (140) and can be connected to a locking device of a component (20) and/or to a locking device (350; 450) of another component (330; 430). Rotation of a deflecting element (120) moves a transfer element (130) such that the second segment (150) is not rotated about the first axis (A). Changing a distance between the first axis (A) and a second axis allows the second segment (150) to be rotated about the first axis by the transfer element (130). A vehicle seat includes such an actuating device (100).
Vehicle seat frame with detent fittings which are coupled together
A vehicle seat frame comprising a first adjusting part and a second adjusting part which is pivotable relative to the first adjusting part, at least two detent fittings by means of which the first adjusting part and the second adjusting part are connected together, wherein the at least two detent fittings hold the two adjusting parts in position relative to each other in a locked state and are able to be unlocked from each other in order to pivot the two adjusting parts, an actuating device which is connected to a first of the at least two detent fittings for unlocking the first of the at least two detent fittings and a coupling device by means of which the at least two detent fittings are coupled together for a common unlocking process. The coupling device comprises a tensile element which is designed to transmit a tensile force.
Motor driven sloped floor recline mechanism for a theater seat
Described is recline mechanism for a comfort seating assembly such as a theater seat which can be mounted on a sloped surface. In a fully recline position, the seating assembly is compact with a layout that falls generally within its profile. The recline mechanism includes a pair of each of: seat rail brackets, front pivot links, rear pivot upper lift link to control the motion of the rear end of the assembly, rear pivot links each attached to one rear pivot upper lift link, carrier links, each carrier link attached to one front pivot link and to a rear pivot link and a pair of rear pivot upper lift control links, attached to a pivot upper lift link and to a carrier link. A linear actuator attached by motor drive tubes at two ends of the linkage system transitions the recline mechanism between the closed and recline positions.
VEHICLE SEAT COMPRISING A LATCHING DEVICE AND AN ADDITIONAL CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle seat comprising at least one first and one second adjustment part and a latching device is provided. The first adjustment part is formed by a backrest of the vehicle seat and the second adjustment part is formed by a seat part of the vehicle seat. The first adjustment part is lockable in a first adjustment region in a plurality of adjustment positions relative to the second adjustment part by means of the latching device, and is adjustable relative to the second adjustment part when the latching device is in a release position, for setting the backrest in its inclination with respect to the seat part. The first adjustment part is adjustable from the first adjustment region into a second adjustment region in which the backrest is folded forward in the direction of the seat part or even onto the seat part.
Vehicle seat with free-pivoting function
A vehicle seat with a seat part, a backrest and a fitting which pivotally connects the backrest with the seat part. The fitting includes a backrest-side fitting part coupled with the backrest via a locking mechanism, and a rotary fitting mechanism. A driving device is arranged on the backrest for driving the rotary fitting mechanism. In a locking position, the locking mechanism firmly couples the backrest-side fitting part with the backrest, and in a free-pivoting position decouples the backrest-side fitting part from the backrest, so that the backrest is pivotable into a folded position in a swivel direction about the swivel axis. The driving device is formed to actuate the rotary fitting mechanism for pivoting the backrest-side fitting part by a predetermined angle against the swivel direction, when the locking mechanism is actuated for pivoting the backrest into the folded position.
Driving device and sear adjusting mechanism for vehicle
A driving device and a seat adjusting mechanism for vehicle are provided. The driving device includes a motor and a gearbox. The gearbox includes a worm and a worm gear. The worm is fixedly connected to an output shaft of the motor. The gearbox further includes first and second driving gears, and first and second driven gears. The first and second driving gears are coaxially fixed to the worm gear and located at two sides of the worm gear, respectively. The first and second driven gears are fixed coaxially with each other and engaged with the first and second driving gears, respectively. Two driving gears are arranged at the two sides of the worm gear symmetrically, and two driven gears are also arranged at the two sides of the worm gear symmetrically, which results in a compact structure and reduced volume of the driving device.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion frame provided at a seat cushion; a seatback frame structuring a seatback, the seatback frame being rotatably coupled to a front-rear direction rear end portion of the seat cushion frame via a rotation axle; a drive unit disposed at a front-rear direction front side of the seat cushion frame; and a first driving force transmission unit that couples the drive unit with the rotation axle and transmits driving force of the drive unit to the rotation axle.
Cross rod for vehicle seat recliner assembly
A recliner assembly for a vehicle seat may include a pair of recliner hearts and a cross rod. Each of the recliner hearts includes a first plate and a second plate that is selectively rotatable relative to the first plate to recline a seatback relative to a seat bottom of the vehicle seat. The cross rod extends between the recliner hearts and is received in hubs of the recliner hearts. The cross rod transmits torque between the hubs. The cross rod includes ridges that are angularly spaced apart from each other. Each of the ridges includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and an end wall extending between the first and second sidewalls. The first and second sidewalls are defined by first and second axes that extend radially outward. The first and second axes are angled such that they do not converge with each other as they extend radially outward.
BACK FRAME FOR VEHICLE SEAT
A back frame to be used in a seatback of a vehicle seat is provided. The back frame for a vehicle seat includes a frame main body, a beam member, a bracket, and an extending portion. The frame main body includes two side frames that extend in an approximately up-down direction and that are disposed spaced apart from each other in a seat width direction. The beam member is formed in a rod-like shape, is disposed between the two side frames, and extends in the seat width direction. The bracket couples the beam member to the frame main body. The extending portion is provided in an end of the bracket and extends in a direction away from the end of the bracket. The bracket includes, in the end thereof, a welded portion welded to an outer circumferential surface of the beam member.
