The doffing apparatus can comprise at least one elongate arm, each elongate arm having a proximal end, a distal end, and a length, and at least one driver, each driver being configured to move along a respective elongate arm to move a bobbin toward the distal end of the elongate arm. The doffing apparatus can further comprise at least one alignment device. The doffing apparatus can further comprise a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: receive feedback from the at least one alignment device, provide a control signal to cause the AGV to align the elongate arm with a receptacle at a loader, and move the driver a select distance along the length of the elongate arm.

A plurality of cylinders with extendible and retractable arms control the desired position of the conveyor. A plurality of load cells are mounted on the second frame and support the first frame. The weigh scales weigh the first frame, the hopper, and the seed in the hopper, without weighing the conveyor. Therefore, an accurate amount of seed can be dispensed from the hopper via the conveyor. Wheels and a hitch tongue can be detachably mounted on the second frame to convert the cart from a stationary unit to a mobile unit.

The at least one sensor is configured to detect an interface between an upper surface of a grain mound in the receiving container and an interior surface of a wall of the receiving container, at least a portion of an upper edge of the wall, and an orientation of the grain transfer element. The processor is configured to compare the detected interface and the detected portion of the upper edge to the detected orientation of the grain transfer element, and to control the operation of the grain transfer element to direct a transfer of grain from the supplying container to the receiving container based at least in part on a result of the comparison of the detected interface and the detected portion of the upper edge to the detected orientation of the grain transfer element.
