TELESCOPING ROTATABLE TOOL
A telescoping rotatable tool includes a first shaft and a second shaft. The first shaft has a first material-engaging element extending from an exterior surface of the first shaft. The second shaft has a second material-engaging element extending from an exterior surface of the second shaft. The second shaft is configured to extend from and retract within an interior space presented by the first shaft. The first shaft includes at least one helical-shaped groove extending along an interior surface of the first shaft. The second shaft includes at least one guide element extending from the exterior surface of the second shaft. The guide element is configured to engage with the groove, such that as the second shaft extends from and retracts within the first shaft, the second shaft is configured to rotate with respect to the first shaft.
VOLUMETRIC MIXER CONTROL SYSTEM
A volumetric mixer control system for a mobile volumetric mixer for controlling a mix recipe produced by the mobile volumetric mixer. The control system on the mobile volumetric mixer has a programmable logic controller, electronic control units for controlling flow control devices, and a controller area network for controlling the mixer control system. A mobile electronic device connects the controller area network on the mobile volumetric mixer to a remote terminal for providing a control signal to the mobile electronic device to control the mix produced by the volumetric mixer.
Material placer
A material placer includes conveyors on a frame for receiving material from a side dump trailer and conveying the material to a placing location. The conveyors can include a receiving conveyor for receiving material from the side dump trailer through an opening in a side of the placer, a funneling auger for funneling the material so it flows along a narrow flow path, a transfer conveyor for lifting the material after it is dumped from the side dump trailer, and/or a placing conveyor for placing the material at the placing location. The placing conveyor can be movable between a stowed position and a conveying position. A drive system for the conveyor may be located within a conveyor pulley to reduce the envelope of the material placer.
AUTOMATED FILL SYSTEM
An agricultural system that includes an automated fill system that delivers product to or removes product from a first storage tank automatically. The automated fill system includes a product conveyor system that transfers the product. The system includes an alignment system that aligns the product conveyer system to deliver or remove the product from the first storage tank. A controller controls the alignment system to control transfer of the product to and from the first storage tank.
GRAIN CART WITH FOLDING AUGER
A grain cart and foldable auger assembly having an upper auger assembly portion with a discharge portion, a lower auger assembly portion with an intake portion, and a joint that allows the upper auger assembly portion to be moved between operating and transport positions. When in an operating position, the upper auger portion and the lower auger portion are offset from each other by an operating offset angle. The grain cart also has a hitch for allowing the grain cart to be towed. The discharge portion is forward of the hitch when in the operating position. Embodiments of the present invention provide, for example, increased forward and side reach, additional storage capacity of the hopper, increased discharge rate from the hopper, and a more compact transport position.
GATE OPENERS FOR TRAILER HOPPERS
An auger mountable gate control assembly for a hopper trailer with a gate, and including an actuator, a driver connected to the gate, a torque limiter, a keyed telescoping assembly and one or more universal joints. A bin mountable gate control assembly for a bin with a gate, and including an actuator, a driver connected to the gate, a force limiter, and visual indication system for flow and/or gate position. A hopper assembly for an auger, and including a housing, an inlet, a first actuator for raising and lowering the inlet, and a second actuator for moving a gate covering an opening of the auger.
AUGER FLIGHT EXTENSION FOR A FARM IMPLEMENT
A farm implement having an auger assembly that includes a first auger section with a first auger shaft and a first helical flight array and a second auger section with a second auger shaft and a second helical flight array. When the auger assembly is set in the operating position, a leading edge of the first helical flight array opposes a trailing edge of the second flight array, and the leading edge is spatially separated from the trailing edge by a gap. The auger assembly further includes a first flight extension detachably mounted to the leading edge of the first helical flight array and/or a second flight extension detachably mounted to the trailing edge of the second helical flight array.
Feed Distribution Assembly
A feed distribution assembly for transporting and dispensing feed includes a trailer and a silo. The silo is coupled to a bed of the trailer and is configured to position feed. The trailer is configured to couple to a vehicle to transport the feed to a desired location. An auger is coupled to a bottom of the silo. The auger is configured to selectively convey the feed from the silo to dispense the feed at the desired location.
