Controlling the dust emissions from the discharge of bulk materials from a container provides many benefits. A container engages a support structure that includes a frame. The frame includes a dust control enclosure coupled to an outlet or a hopper at the top of the frame and the container or a discharge gate of the container. The dust control enclosure comprises a collapsible and flexible material so that a tight seal is formed between the container and the hopper or the outlet of the frame. Dust from the discharged of the bulk material from the container is contained within the support structure. A dust control panel may also be disposed at the top of the frame to prevent any dust from migrating through the frame. The container may comprise a plurality of dust enclosure panels to further prevent the escape of dust during discharge of the bulk material.

The disc valve may be manually operated, or pivoted through motorized operations, to allow for the alternative flow of bulk material from the vehicle hopper. The disc valve has an annular disc, integrally formed with upright supports, that are bearing mounted by shafts to the sidewalls of the structured tee.

A dry bulk tank and a method of carrying a load and discharging a load therefrom. The dry bulk tank includes a tank assembly having a first wall that bounds and defines a first compartment for carrying a load therein and a second wall spaced outwardly from at least a portion of the first wall; wherein a second compartment is defined between the first wall and the second wall. The tank assembly includes an air piping system that is selectively actuated to place the first compartment and the second compartment under substantially similar or substantially equal air pressure. In one example the air piping system pumps air into the first compartment and the second compartment. In another example the air piping system evacuates air from the first and second compartments.

A dry-bulk tanker for the provision of binding agents for soil stabilization for a spreading device comprises a storage container (10) for binding agent. A mechanical conveying device (18) for conveying binding agents from the storage container (10) into an intermediate chamber (20) is connected to the storage container (10). A pneumatic conveying device (36) for conveying the binding agent to the spreading device is connected to the intermediate chamber (20). A pressure relief device (40, 41) is connected to the mechanical conveying device in order to avoid the entry of compressed air into the storage container (10). The invention furthermore relates to a conveying system for a dry-bulk tanker and to a work train for working soils with a self-propelled ground working machine and a dry-bulk tanker.
HAND-OPERATED CRANK HANDLE FOR SEMI-TRAILER TRAP DOORS
A hand-operated crank tool for manually operating hopper trap doors. The crank tool may have a first handle arranged on a first axis, a second handle arranged on a second axis, and a tooling end arranged on a third axis. The crank tool may additionally have a first extension portion extending between the first and second handles and a second extension portion extending between the second handle and the tooling end. The first, second, and third axes may be parallel. In some embodiments, the tooling end may include a socket head, which may be readily removable.
TRAILER-MOUNTED PROPPANT DELIVERY SYSTEM
An apparatus and process for delivering proppant to a well site has a trailer with a bed thereon and at least one track of rollers extending in parallel relationship to the longitudinal axis of the trailer. The track of rollers extend substantially for an entire length of the bed of the trailer. At least one proppant container is translatably positioned on the track of rollers. The proppant container is movable along the array of rollers from one end of the bed to an opposite end of the bed. A bin can be removably positioned below the bed of the trailer in a position rearward of the front end of the trailer and forward of a rear end of the trailer so as to allow the proppant container to discharge into the bin. A conveyor is cooperative with the bin so as to move proppant from the bin to a location at the well site.
