DISCHARGE SYSTEM FOR DRY BULK TRAILERS
20260014921 · 2026-01-15 ·

A discharge system for bulk tank trailers unloads dry bulk material from a bulk product trailer that is configured to be pulled by a vehicle. The discharge system includes a centrifugal compressor and a speed increaser. The speed increaser includes a gearbox and a traction drive connected in series. The centrifugal compressor is configured to deliver compressed air to force the dry bulk material from the bulk product trailer and convey the dry bulk material to a storage tank. A power take-off of the vehicle furnishes rotational motion to the discharge system. The speed increaser is disposed between the centrifugal compressor and the PTO and is configured to increase the speed of the rotational motion furnished by the PTO to reach the operational speed used by the compressor to discharge different types of dry bulk material.

VACUUM VEHICLE WITH ELECTRICALLY NON-CONDUCTIVE BOOM
20260092426 · 2026-04-02 ·

A vacuum vehicle where some or all of the boom used to manipulate the position of the vacuum hose is electrically non-conductive. If the boom happens to contact an electrical line or other carrier of electrical energy, electrical energy will not be transmitted from the electrical line into the boom due to the electrically non-conductive nature of the boom, thereby protecting the vacuum vehicle, its equipment, and any worker on or near the vacuum vehicle.

TRAILER-BASED COMPRESSED AIR PARTICULATE REMOVAL SYSTEM

A method for flowing sand out of a trailer, includes charging a brake air tank of the trailer. The method further includes charging an air compression tank with air from the brake air tank. Additionally, the method includes opening a gate of a hopper attached to the trailer, so sand flows out an opening formed by the gate. Moreover, the method includes activating a first air nozzle on the hopper to emit a burst of air from the air compression tank after a first set time period to assist moving the sand. Also, the method includes activating a second air nozzle on the hopper to emit a burst of air from the air compression tank after a second set time period to assist moving the sand. Further, the method includes repeatedly reactivating the first air nozzle and the second air nozzle until the air compression tank is empty.
