Object handling device and method
11117741 · 2021-09-14 ·

An object handling device handles a first object and a second object. A lower support beam, a first side frame and a second side frame define a lower object holding channel for supporting the first object. A first upper support beam and a second upper support beam define an upper object holding channel. An object lift vertically lifts the first object from the lower object holding channel to the upper object holding channel. A beam lift pivots the lower support beam and the first object. A lower hoist positions a second object within the lower object holding channel. A first telescoping support beam and a second telescoping support beam define an angled object displacement channel. An upper hoist links with the first object for displacing the first object along the angled object displacement channel.

Vehicle load ramp system

A multi-configurable load ramp for a vehicle includes an outer ramp member, an inner ramp member pivotably coupled to the outer ramp member and movable between a deployed position extending from the outer ramp member, and a folded position where the inner ramp member is disposed nestingly within outer ramp member, and a vehicle attachment device coupled to one of the inner and outer ramp members. The vehicle attachment device includes a plate member and a hook member extending therefrom, the hook member having an upper jaw and a lower jaw at least partially defining a receiving slot to receive a portion of a tailgate. In the deployed position, one of the inner and outer ramp members is configured to couple to the tailgate via the vehicle attachment device to provide a ramp surface to load and/or unload objects from a cargo area of the vehicle.

DEVICE FOR SECURING A MATERIAL HANDLING DEVICE IN FIXED LOCATION INSIDE A TRANSPORT VEHICLE AND RELATED METHOD
20210276479 · 2021-09-09 ·

A device for securing a material handling device in a transport vehicle comprises an arm supporting at opposite ends a first attachment member configured for attaching to a shaft of a handle of the material handling device, which is configured for steerably moving the material handling device, and a second attachment member configured for attaching to the transport vehicle. The arm is movable relative to the first attachment member between a working position in which the arm is arranged to extend outwardly from the shaft of the handle to position the second attachment member at a spaced location therefrom for connecting to the transport vehicle, so as to secure the material handling device in fixed relation to the transport vehicle, and a storage position in which the arm is arranged generally parallel to the shaft of the handle to position the second attachment member at or adjacent the shaft.

TRANSPORT VEHICLE FOR TRANSPORTING PAYLOADS

A transport vehicle for transporting payloads is provided. The transport vehicle includes primary and secondary chassis, and first and second sets of wheels for supporting the respective primary and secondary chassis. A guide arrangement is mounted on the primary chassis and the secondary chassis is slidably mounted on the guide arrangement. The primary and secondary chassis are parallel and spaced apart from each other. A payload lifting arrangement is positioned on a top surface of the secondary chassis to lift a payload. When a weight of the payload is below or equal to a threshold weight, the weight is distributed across the second set of wheels by way of the suspension arrangement. When the weight of the payload exceeds the threshold weight, the weight is distributed across the first and second sets of wheels by way of the guide arrangement and the suspension arrangement, respectively.

LOAD BAR FOR A TRUCK TRAILER

A transportation vessel includes a first sidewall and an opposing second sidewall. A load bar has a first end and a second end. The load bar is movable between a horizontal orientation and a vertical orientation. In the horizontal orientation, the first end is attached to the first sidewall and the second end is attached to the second sidewall, and the load bar may support cargo while the cargo is being transported in the transportation vessel. In the vertical orientation, the first end is attached to the first sidewall and the second end is unattached to the second sidewall.

HOIST FOR VEHICLE WITH INTERCHANGEABLE BODY

Provided in this disclosure is a hoist for raising and mounting an interchangeable vehicle body onto a vehicle chassis. The hoist includes a hoist frame having a pivot end and an elevated end for slidably supporting the interchangeable body. A subframe with a bolt-on assembly is provided for fixedly connecting to the vehicle chassis. A linkage connects the hoist frame to the subframe. The linkage also includes a hinge joint member for raising the elevated end of the hoist frame. A mounting bracket pivotally connects to the pivot end of the hoist frame. The mounting bracket has a bolt-on assembly for fixedly connecting to the vehicle chassis. A winch assembly is retained in the elevated end of the hoist frame and extending to the pivot end for raising the interchangeable body onto the hoist frame.

System For Unloading Particulate Material From An Agricultural Machine
20210176917 · 2021-06-17 ·

The invention provides an unloading system which can be arranged to move a bin or box a distance away from metering equipment of an agricultural machine, such as a dry pneumatic applicator, to allow access to bottom oriented-gates of the bin and retractable chutes for directing particulate material out of the bin and away from the machine. In one aspect, the bin can be lifted or vertically raised by one or more cylinders to allow access to the bottom gates and allow gravity to empty the material from the box, through the bottom gates, down one or more chutes directed to a particular area. One or more hoppers of the bin, typically 1 to 4, can each have a bottom positioned slide gate or door that can be operated to expose a chute for emptying the material out of the box.
