A trailer for transporting living fowl includes a first enclosure and a second enclosure that are separated by a partition wall, each of the first and second enclosures being defined by a top, a floor, the partition wall, a rear wall, a first side wall and a second side wall; an apparatus for generating conditioned air to be supplied to the first and second enclosures; the partition wall having a length extending vertically between the floor and the ceiling and a width extending horizontally between the first and second side walls; the partition wall including a plurality of fans being structured and disposed for creating a path of airflow of the conditioned air throughout the first and second enclosures; and a plurality of air supply ducts in fluid flow communication with the apparatus for generating conditioned air.

A set of panels for protecting livestock during transportation, for use in a lorry with a cage for carrying livestock having railings and a guillotine door, comprising: a plurality of fixed panels, and four mobile panels, wherein the fixed panels comprise one or more layers of flexible material and a backing plate made of rigid material, to be arranged forming a horizontal strip along the inner walls of the cage railings, and wherein the mobile panels comprise pivoting wings that can adopt a folded position and an unfolded position, and wherein said mobile panels are arranged at the sides of the guillotine door, two on the inside of the cage and two on the outside thereof.

The flora or fauna storage container may comprise a temperature regulator, an aperture to let in air, and a humidity controller. The aperture may be adjustable. The temperature regulator, aperture, and humidity controller may use the information about optimal conditions for animals or plants scheduled to be delivered, to adjust the conditions of the flora or fauna storage container to remain within the optimal conditions for animals or plants scheduled to be delivered.
