Laryngoscope system and blade assembly
A laryngoscope system including a laryngoscope device and a blade assembly. The laryngoscope device has a handle member and a front-end member, which includes: a longitudinal member, with a channel, being connected with the handle member; a sliding part having at a distal end an imaging and/or a lighting device and being configured to be at least partially inserted in and movable along the channel, which has an abutment and a positioning spring between the abutment and a proximal end of the sliding part. The blade assembly is configured to cooperate with the front-end member and has fixed to one another: a blade having a distal tip; an insertion housing, which has a cavity to receive the front-end member, includes an engaging element having an edge to cooperate with the longitudinal member's distal end, the engaging element's edge being positioned at a predefined distance from the blade's distal tip.

Flexible robotic endoscopy system
An embodiment of the invention is an endoscopy system with newly designed docking block, brake control, wire tension adjustment, bending angle sensor, memory chip data storage, valve control, imaging lens cleaning, optimized lumen arrangement and distal position sensor. The docking block can have a one-touch retaining mechanism. Braking control can be accessed by the endoscopist at the hand grip or knobs. Wire tension can be relaxed or tightened in response to surgeon or endoscopist control. Bending angle sensors can protect surgical instruments. Memory chip can store usage data of the endoscope. Multiple valves can have priority control. Lenses can be cleaned with one touch of a button. Lumens can be arranged to maximize imaging and lighting angles. Position markers accompanied with sensors can position the distal end of the endoscope automatically in the optimal position.
BASKET DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPE
A basket device for an endoscope includes a base tube attached to an end of an endoscope tube and including at least one channel through which an endoscopic camera or a surgical instrument passes, a plurality of baskets provided at locations separate from each other in a radial direction along an edge of an end of the base tube and formed to protrude in a direction in which each of the baskets is to be expanded, and an operator formed to surround the plurality of baskets at the end of the base tube and being slidable in a longitudinal direction of the base tube.
DYNAMIC SCALING FOR A ROBOTIC SURGICAL SYSTEM
A robotic surgical system in which the system applies a scaling factor between user input from a user input device and corresponding movements of the robotic manipulator. Scaling factors may be applied or adjusted based on detected conditions such as the type of instrument being manipulated, detected distance between multiple instruments being manipulated, user biometric parameters.
MEDICAL DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
Devices, systems, and methods are provided for breaking a kidney stone(s) into smaller particles, fragments, and/or stone dust; and removing the same from a patient. The medical device may include a tube having a distal end, a proximal end, a port located proximal of the distal end, and a length of the tube extending between the proximal end and the distal end. A first portion of the tube may be proximal of the port and have a first cross-sectional area, while a second portion of the tube may be distal of the port and have a second cross-sectional area smaller than the first cross-sectional area. A first lumen may extend from the proximal end to the distal end of the tube. A second lumen may in communication with the port to fluidly connect the proximal end of the tube with the port.
Endoscope
An endoscope has an insertion portion with a simple configuration. The endoscope is an endoscope having an insertion portion and an operation unit connected to one end of the insertion portion. The insertion portion includes a tube provided with a plurality of channels penetrating in a longitudinal direction, an operation unit connected to one end of the tube, and a distal tip that covers another end of the tube and smoothly communicates with a part of the plurality of channels.

Articulation locking mechanisms for end effectors and methods of use
A medical device includes an end effector at a distal end of the medical device, an actuator coupled to a proximal end of the end effector, a pivot arm pivotally coupled to the end effector distal of the proximal end of the end effector, where actuation of the actuator pivots the end effector relative to the pivot arm, and a lock on the end effector and the pivot arm, where the lock has a first state permitting the end effector to pivot relative to the pivot arm and a second state restricting the end effector from pivoting relative to the pivot arm.
ENDOLUMINAL SIZING DEVICE
Embodiments of a sizing device that can be used to measure the size of airways lumens, such as those connected to lungs. The sizing device can have different expandable elements in order to accurately and consistently measure the particular dimensions of a lumen. In some embodiments, markings viewable by a user can be used to determine the particular size.
