OBLIQUE TIP ENDOSCOPE WITH ZERO DEGREE FIELD ANGLE
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are discussed herein for an endoscope. The endoscope has a distal tip with an oblique portion and a flat portion, the oblique portion defines a plane that forms an angle between and including 20 and 40 degrees to a central axis of the endoscope. A related sheath may have similar features at the distal tip.
ENDOSCOPIC IMAGING DEVICE AND ENDOSCOPE
A cholangioscope includes a catheter that is to be inserted into a body and has a curved shape, a camera shaft that can be inserted into the catheter and is formed in a curved shape, and a CMOS image sensor that is provided at a distal end portion of the camera shaft. The catheter further includes a forceps channel into which a medical instrument can be inserted, and a camera channel that is provided in an outer side portion of the catheter having the curved shape outer than the forceps channel and into which the camera shaft can be inserted. Curvature of the camera shaft is less than curvature of the catheter. The camera shaft is formed into a curved shape by using a shape memory alloy.

Multi-shield spinal access system
An access device for accessing an intervertebral disc having an outer shield comprising an access shield with a larger diameter (˜16-30 mm) that reaches from the skin down to the facet line, with an inner shield having a second smaller diameter (˜5-12 mm) extending past the access shield and reaches down to the disc level. This combines the benefits of the direct visual microsurgical/mini open approaches and the percutaneous, “ultra-MIS” techniques.

Coaxial micro-endoscope
A deflectable endoscope including an imaging structure, an outer member having a proximal portion and a distal portion, an elongated column member extending distally from the outer member and an inner member positioned coaxial with the outer member and attached to the column member. The inner member extends distally of the outer member and has a distal tip portion. A reinforcement member is positioned over the column member to restrict axial movement of the column member such that when one of the inner member or outer member is moved with respect to the other, axial compression of the column member is restricted by the reinforcement member causing the distal tip portion of the inner member to deflect laterally.

Medical device having a plurality of lumens and a port
Devices, systems, and methods are provided for breaking a kidney stone(s) into smaller particles, fragments, and/or stone dust; and removing the same from a patient. The medical device may include a tube having a distal end, a proximal end, a port located proximal of the distal end, and a length of the tube extending between the proximal end and the distal end. A first portion of the tube may be proximal of the port and have a first cross-sectional area, while a second portion of the tube may be distal of the port and have a second cross-sectional area smaller than the first cross-sectional area. A first lumen may extend from the proximal end to the distal end of the tube. A second lumen may in communication with the port to fluidly connect the proximal end of the tube with the port.
MEDICAL DEVICE WITH EXTENDABLE SHAFT
A medical device may comprise a handle, a first shaft extending from a distal end of the handle, and a second shaft extending a lumen of the first shaft. The handle may further include a first actuator and a second actuator. The first shaft may include (1) a plurality of lumens extending therethrough, (2) a distal face, and (3) a longitudinal axis. Actuation of the first actuator may articulate a distal portion of the first shaft. The second shaft may be axially movable relative to the first shaft such that the second shaft extends out of a distal opening of the first lumen and distally of the distal face. Actuation of the second actuator may articulate a distal portion of the second shaft.
Enhanced flexible robotic endoscopy apparatus
An enhanced flexible robotic endoscopy apparatus includes a main body and flexible elongate shaft. The main body comprises a proximal end, a distal end and a housing that extends to the proximal end and the housing comprises a plurality of surfaces and a plurality of insertion inlets which reside on at least one of the surface of the housing at the proximal end of the main body, through which a plurality of channels for endoscopy are accessible. Each of the insertion inlets has insertion axis corresponding thereto, along which flexible elongate assemblies are insertable, with the insertion axes of the insertion inlets being parallel to the central axis of the flexible elongate shaft at the proximal end of the flexible elongate shaft.
