Roadway work area safety truck
A system for generating collision data captured by safety monitoring equipment on-board a safety truck may include a processor that receives an indication of a speed of a vehicle approaching the safety truck and that overlays a textual indication of the speed of the vehicle onto frames of video captured of the vehicle. If the processor receives an indication that the vehicle has collided with the safety truck, a timestamp is associated with the video and a predetermined portion preceding the timestamp and after the timestamp is not overwritten.
System and Method for Reconfiguring an Autorack
A method comprises removing a first deck of a plurality of decks and a second deck of the plurality of decks from an autorack. The method further comprises removing one or more of a plurality of posts of the autorack and coupling a cross-brace assembly to one or more of the plurality of posts, wherein the cross-brace assembly is coupled to the one or more of the plurality of posts at a location above an existing brace bay of the autorack. The method also comprises coupling the second deck of the plurality of decks to the autorack at a location above or below the cross-brace assembly.

PHOTOVOLTAIC MOBILE LAB
The disclosed embodiments relate to a photovoltaic mobile lab configured for performing on-site test in a photovoltaic module. The photovoltaic mobile lab includes a transport vehicle, a first container, a second container, and a light source. The first container is fixed on the transport vehicle. The second container is slidably sleeved on the first container. The second container and the first container together form a testing chamber. The light source is configured for providing illumination to the photovoltaic module. The light source and the photovoltaic module are respectively accommodated in the first container and the second container and are respectively located at two opposite ends of the testing chamber so that a distance between the light source and the photovoltaic module is changeable while the second container is sliding with respect to the first container.

COMPACT, STOWABLE STAIRCASE FOR VEHICLE
A compact, stowable staircase for a vehicle is provided. A first portion of steps is attached to a housing and a second portion of steps in a hinged manner for rotational movement. The second portion of steps is movable between a folded position where the first portion of steps mates with the second portion of steps, and an unfolded position where the first and second portion of steps form a continuous flight of stairs. A movement device permits movement of the housing between a retracted position where the housing is located within a storage area associated with the vehicle and an extended position where the housing is extended from the storage area.
