Methods of treating and imaging tumor micrometastases using photoactive immunoconjugates
Methods for evaluating micrometastases in a tissue region of a subject are described. The methods include administering to the subject a detectably effective amount of a tumor-targeted photoactivatable immunoconjugate; allowing a sufficient amount of time for the tumor-targeted photoactivatable immunoconjugate to enter micrometastases in the tissue region; illuminating the tumor-targeted photoactivatable immunoconjugate; obtaining an image of the tissue region of the subject using a fluorescent imaging device, and evaluating the micrometastases in the tissue region by conducting algorithmic analysis of the image. Methods of treating micrometastases in a tissue region of a subject are also described.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCED AUTOMATED ENDOSCOPY PROCEDURE WORKFLOW
Systems and methods are provided for delivering consistent high quality, cost efficient results in fixed or mobile endoscopy facilities, without requiring the continuous real-time involvement of a fellowship trained gastroenterologist, by integrating patient specific information into decision support systems and AI/machine learning systems employed during the planning and examination phases of the endoscopy procedure.
Robotic surgical system with virtual control panel for tool actuation
A surgical system includes a detector, comprising an array of pixels configured to detect light reflected by a surgical instrument and generate a first signal comprising a first dataset representative of a visible image of the surgical instrument. The surgical system also includes a processor configured to receive the first signal, generate a modified image of the surgical instrument that includes a control panel. The control panel includes one or more control elements representative of one or more operating parameters of the surgical instrument. The processor is further configured to receive an input to the control panel from a user, the input being effective to change one of the operating parameters. The processor is also configured to generate a command signal based on the input to change the one of the operating parameters.
Composite device for medical image capturing
A composite device for medical image capturing according to the present invention includes: a head part including a camera unit provided with an image sensor to capture a tooth image, a printed circuit board for operation control of the camera unit and signal transmission therefrom, a light source panel having multiple light sources mounted therein, the light sources emitting light towards a target tooth of which an image is to be captured by the camera unit, an upper housing having the camera unit, the printed circuit board, and the light source panel which are embedded therein, and a lower housing; and a main body part provided with an operation panel for signal input, and supplying electric power to the head part and transmitting a tooth image signal received from the head part to outside.

Endoscope device and endoscopic detection method
The present invention discloses an endoscope apparatus and an endoscopic method. The endoscope apparatus includes a release source, a tether connected to the release source, an elastic clamp member and a capsule endoscope. The elastic clamp member includes an elastic clamp cavity being interconnected to an air outlet of the release source through the tether. In a clamped state, at least a portion of the capsule endoscope is within the elastic clamp cavity, wherein the elastic clamp member has a tendency to recover from deformation to apply a clamping force to the capsule endoscope. In a released state, the elastic clamp member is expanded by the air pressure from the tether, and the capsule endoscope is released from the elastic clamp cavity.
Fully integrated, disposable tissue visualization device
The present invention relates to a fully integrated sterilizable one time use disposable tissue visualization device and methods for using such devices. Preferred embodiments of the invention facilitate the visualization of an internal tissue site while causing a minimum of damage to the surrounding tissue. Further preferred embodiments may allow for the delivery of fluids and other treatment to an internal tissue site.
