A cargo carrier for portable rumble strips is mountable to a hitch assembly for a vehicle. The cargo carrier includes a basket configured to receive and retain a portable rumble strip for storage and transport, and a mounting assembly that includes a pintle adapted to be received in a receiver of a hitch assembly mountable to a vehicle. The basket has a frame that includes frame elements that define a bottom wall, relatively long front and back walls, and relatively short side walls that connect the front wall and the back wall. The front, back, and side walls extend from respective sides of the bottom wall in a common direction. And the basket further includes a rotating element at the top of at least one of the side walls to facilitate drawing rumble strips lengthwise over the side wall into or out of the basket.

A replacement tailgate for the purpose of elongating the pick up truck may be installed on a truck bed wherein the replacement tailgate can be unfolded in order to elongate a length of the truck bed. The replacement tailgate may have front and rear shells that are used to support objects placed in the truck bed as well as act as the new tailgate when the truck bed length is elongated. Various panels may be unfolded in order to trap objects within the truck bed when the replacement tailgate is unfolded in order to elongate the truck bed length.

A method of assembling a drilling rig may include aligning a trailer with a drilling rig support structure, the trailer carrying a mast and the drilling rig support structure including a step-down substructure. A first end of the mast may be positioned over the drilling rig support structure and arms may be extended from the mast to the drilling rig support structure so that the drilling rig support structure supports the first end of the mast. The mast may translate along a length of the drilling rig support structure. The mast may be coupled to the drilling rig support structure.

A method of assembling a drilling rig may include aligning a trailer with a drilling rig support structure, the trailer carrying a mast and the drilling rig support structure including a step-down substructure. A first end of the mast may be positioned over the drilling rig support structure and arms may be extended from the mast to the drilling rig support structure so that the drilling rig support structure supports the first end of the mast. Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, which can comprise a platform. The platform can comprise a pair of brackets via which said platform is coupleable to corresponding flanges of a vehicle. The platform, once coupled, can extend a bed of the vehicle such that, if one or more transported items are larger than the bed of the vehicle, the one or more transported items are transportable via the vehicle.

Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, which can comprise a platform. The platform can comprise a pair of brackets via which said platform is coupleable to corresponding flanges of a vehicle. The platform, once coupled, can extend a bed of the vehicle such that, if one or more transported items are larger than the bed of the vehicle, the one or more transported items are transportable via the vehicle.

A system for truck bed extension that includes: a truck bed, where the truck bed includes a first tail gate; an extension portion of the truck bed, where the extension portion includes a first position and a second position, wherein the first position is retained in the truck bed behind the first tail gate and the second position extends beyond the first tail gate extending the length of the truck bed; and a second tail gate on the extension portion, where the second tailgate is available when the extension portion is in the second position. The system for truck bed extension may also include a locking mechanism for the extension portion to lock the extension portion in either the first position or second position. The extension portion may extend at more than one length and preferably extends up to 4 feet beyond the first tail gate.

A system for truck bed extension that includes: a truck bed, where the truck bed includes a first tail gate; an extension portion of the truck bed, where the extension portion includes a first position and a second position, wherein the first position is retained in the truck bed behind the first tail gate and the second position extends beyond the first tail gate extending the length of the truck bed; and a second tail gate on the extension portion, where the second tailgate is available when the extension portion is in the second position. A truck bed extender and ramp assembly mounts to the hitch receiver of a pickup truck to allow four-wheeled vehicles to be driven into and out of the truck bed, with the rear wheels of the vehicle being supported by a crossbar spaced rearwardly from the open tailgate of the truck. The assembly includes ramps pivotally mounted to the crossbar for movement between a lowered use position for loading and unloading the vehicle and a raised transport position. The ramps automatically pivot on the crossbar when the rear wheels of the vehicle pass over the crossbar. The ramps include telescoping sections to adjust the length of the ramps.

A truck bed extender and ramp assembly mounts to the hitch receiver of a pickup truck to allow four-wheeled vehicles to be driven into and out of the truck bed, with the rear wheels of the vehicle being supported by a crossbar spaced rearwardly from the open tailgate of the truck.
