Detection of Unsecured Load in Automatically Drivable Vehicles
Disclosed is a method for detecting an unsecured load in an especially automatically drivable vehicle by means of a controller, wherein measurement data in the form of lateral accelerations and/or linear accelerations of the vehicle acquired by at least one acceleration sensor are received, a time interval for detecting the unsecured load is started when the measured lateral accelerations or linear accelerations exceed a threshold value, during the time interval started measurement data acquired by at least one sensor are received and derivatives with respect of time of the received measurement data are calculated, an event is counted when the derivatives with respect of time of the measurement data exceed the one threshold value, and the presence of an unsecured load is detected when a minimum number of counted events is reached that are counted during the started time interval.
TRUCK BED RISER
A truck bed riser is disclosed having a front riser member, a first side riser member, a second side riser member and a tailgate riser member. The riser members are adapted to connect to each other and to be held to the truck bed, preferably by clamp members. The truck bed riser may include a cover which is attached to the top portion of the four riser members and held in place by suitable means such as clamps or velcro. Preferably, the truck bed riser is made of aluminum.
System and apparatus for attaching and transporting an autonomous vehicle
A field configurable autonomous vehicle includes modular elements and attachable components. The vehicle can be assembled from these modular elements and components to meet desired mission and performance characteristics without the need to purchase specially designed vehicles for each mission. The vehicle can include a mechanisms that magnetically attaches to a ferry vehicle for transport to the location of use.
Dunnage Bag Valve Adapter
A dunnage bag air valve adapter can be coupled to a dunnage bag air valve to allow a user to inflate the dunnage bag using an inflation tool having an inflation tool head with which the dunnage bag's air valve may be otherwise incompatible.
Self-Propelled Airside Dolly, Baggage Handling System, Baggage Handling Facility, and Related Apparatus and Methods
The present invention relates to self-propelled airside dollies (100), and particularly but not exclusively to airside baggage dollies and airside cargo dollies, and autonomous airside dollies. The self-propelled airside dolly comprises a cargo portion (104) configured to hold baggage or cargo, a drive system (108) for driving the self-propelled airside dolly (100), a controller (114) configured to control the drive system (108) in response to control signals and a processor (116) configured to provide the control signals to the controller (114).
Transportation trailer with space frame
Systems and methods for transporting small, dense cargo over roadways via a specialized transportation trailer are provided. The disclosed transportation trailer includes a space frame including a lower central portion designed to directly receive and support the cargo that is being carried by the trailer, as well as an upper portion that extends above the height of the cargo. The space frame also includes lower side portions that extend longitudinally in opposite directions from the lower central portion to connect the space frame to the wheels and trailer hookup of the transportation trailer. The space frame may further include a truss structure formed between the lower central portion and the upper portion to increase the rigidity of the trailer. The transportation trailer is designed to minimize the height of the cargo's center of gravity, increase trailer rigidity, increase cargo capacity, and maximize ground clearance compared to existing trailer designs.

Dunnage bag and load strap hanger apparatus and method
A dunnage bag and load strap hanger apparatus includes a dunnage bag and load strap hanger and a handle mounted applicator block operative to support and affix the dunnage bag and load strap hanger. The hanger is fabricated from three distinct and separate parts: a generally planar support substrate, adhesive patches or regions on the support substrate, and release paper covering the adhesive patches. The support substrate in some embodiments is a sheet that is further divided into two contact members separated by a resilient coupler. Each contact member preferably has a contact body, a hanging loop distal to the resilient coupler, and in alternative embodiments an adhesive coating or other fasteners and affixers. In one embodiment there is one affixing surface, and a fastener to couple two contact members together to support a load strap. In another alternative embodiment a load strap is woven through a pair of slots.
Motorized cart for transporting agricultural harvest containers
A lug transport includes a lower assembly having a frame with an upper end and a lower end. An upper assembly is attached to the upper end of the lower assembly. A plurality of storage spaces is defined by the upper assembly. At least one wheel is rotatably attached to the lower end of the lower assembly to allow the lug transport to travel along a surface. The storage spaces are sized and shaped to each receive an agricultural lug. The storage spaces are also configured to prevent sliding of an agricultural lug when contained within a storage space.
