Light-emitting emblem
A light-emitting emblem includes a light-emitting element as a light source, a housing that houses the light-emitting element and includes an opening, and a cover. The cover includes an emblem on a surface thereof and a light-emitting portion on the surface to allow light emitted from the light-emitting element to be extracted therethrough. The cover is attached to the housing so as to cover the opening. Also included is a first rib on the housing and/or a second rib on the cover, the first rib extending from the housing toward the cover, and the second rib extending from the cover toward the housing.
COMPONENT ARRANGEMENT
A component arrangement includes at least one basic component in which at least one additional component is integrated, the additional component forming at least one visible joint with the basic component. A holding device for the additional component is integrated in the basic component.
Display apparatus of vehicle and method for operating the same
A display apparatus of a vehicle includes a first display device to display an image including first information and second information related to the vehicle, to a first display region, a second display device to display the image to a second display region, a first controller to control an operation of the first display device, based on acquired information on a behavior of the vehicle, and a second controller to control an operation of the second display device, based on the acquired information on the behavior of the vehicle.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, PHOTOGRAPHING APPARATUS, LIGHTING APPARATUS, AND MOBILE BODY
The present technique relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, a photographing apparatus, a lighting apparatus, and a mobile body which enable accuracy of image recognition processing to be improved.
The information processing apparatus includes: a recognizing portion configured to perform image recognition processing with respect to an image photographed by a photographing portion and calculate, for each recognized area being an area based on a recognition result of an object, a reliability of the recognition result; and an irradiation control portion configured to control an irradiation pattern of visible light in a photographing direction of the photographing portion so that the reliability with respect to at least a part of the recognized areas increases. For example, the present technique can be applied to a vehicle control apparatus.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF INDIRECTLY ILLUMINATING A STEP SURFACE OF A VEHICLE RUNNING BOARD
Systems and methods of indirectly illuminating a step surface of a vehicle running board are provided. A running board may include an upper step surface and at least one lighting element provided at an inboard underside of the running board to directly illuminate the undercarriage of the vehicle and a ground surface below the running board. The lighting element may be configured to direct light to a reflecting element provided at the undercarriage for reflecting light provided by the at least one lighting element to indirectly illuminate the upper step surface of the running board. Associated vehicles including the running board are provided. Associated methods are also provided.
GAMING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE, VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A GAMING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A gaming device is provided for a vehicle. It contains a control device which is set up to run a computer game in a game mode, in which output image signals are determined based on input signals for influencing the gameplay of the computer game received from a user. It also includes a user interface connected to the control device which is set up to receive the input signals from the user and an output device on board the vehicle connected to the control device which is set up to output the output image signals to an external area of the vehicle. It is provided that the user interface is located in a vehicle interior of the vehicle and can be operated by a person in the vehicle interior as a user and that the output device includes at least one high-resolution vehicle headlamp of the vehicle.
Apparatus and method of producing virtual after-burn effect in electric vehicle
Apparatus and method of producing a virtual after-burn effect using a controller in an electric vehicle, may include receiving, by the controller, vehicle driving information during vehicle driving, determining, by the controller, virtual variable information in an internal combustion engine on the basis of the input vehicle driving information, determining, by the controller, a virtual after-burn effect characteristic on the basis of the virtual variable information in an internal combustion engine, outputting, by the controller, a control signal for producing the virtual after-burn effect on the basis of the virtual after-born effect characteristic information, and controlling, by the controller, an operation of an effect-production apparatus configured for producing the virtual after-burn effect on the basis of the control signal.
Vehicle lighting assembly with lens heating device and receptacle connector assembly for same
A lighting assembly is presented herein. The lighting assembly includes a receptacle terminal having a connection portion defining an aperture configured to receive a corresponding plug terminal along a longitudinal axis and a terminal housing defining an opening and a cavity in which the connection portion is disposed. The connection portion is sized, shaped, and arranged within the cavity to be movable along a lateral axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
Luminous device for lighting the road, signalling or interior lighting
A luminous motor-vehicle device. The luminous device includes: a segmenting part including a plurality of through-cavities; a plurality of light sources upstream of the segmenting part; a mask that blocks at least one through-cavity of the segmenting part, said mask being able to be partially passed through by light. The luminous device is arranged so that each through-cavity directly or indirectly receives light from at least one separate light source.
Fuel port illumination device
An indicator disposed proximate a fuel port of the vehicle is disclosed. The indicator comprises a persistent luminescent layer, a first light source, and one or more circuits. The persistent luminescent layer is configured to emit a first color of light. The first light source is configured to emit a charging emission to charge the persistent luminescent layer. The one or more circuits are configured to selectively activate one or more portions of the first light source such that the persistent luminescent layer is charged and illuminates the indicator in the first color.
