Tamper resistant and theft resistant vehicle light assembly
A tamper resistant and theft resistant light assembly for a tractor trailer or other vehicle that can be easily installed on the vehicle but cannot be removed without being broken. The light assembly may have one or more flexible projection fingers that deform to allow the light assembly to be mounted on the vehicle body plate by pushing the light assembly into an opening therein, but prevent the light assembly from being removed from the opening. The light assembly has a mounting ring that breaks away from the light assembly if an attempt is made to pry the light assembly out of the opening.
ANTI-THEFT INTEGRATED ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
An attachment system for a removable vehicle component includes a fixed fastener associated with a first element, a cooperating receiver associated with a second element, and an aperture or port configured for providing access to the fixed fastener. The first element may be one of a vehicle fascia or a removable vehicle component, and the second element may be another of the vehicle fascia or the removable vehicle component. Vehicle fascia assemblies and methods of attaching a removable component to a vehicle fascia using the attachment system are described.
REPLACEMENT VEHICLE LAMP ASSEMBLY WITH ATTACHMENT MEMBER
A replacement lamp assembly for replacing a vehicle lamp that has been broken out leaving at least one cylindrical lamp flange is provided. The replacement lamp assembly includes a vehicle lamp having a housing with a base, a lens and an interior portion with at least one light source positioned therein and an attachment member. The attachment member includes an upper lamp retaining section having a first cylindrical wall with an inner surface and an outer surface, a second cylindrical wall with an inner surface and an outer surface spaced apart from the first cylindrical wall and connected thereto by an upper edge, wherein a lower end of second cylindrical wall abuts the at least one flange. A mounting section is formed integral with the lamp retaining section and includes a third cylindrical wall with an inner surface and an outer surface. The outer surface includes a plurality of angled projections extending outward therefrom in a direction towards the lamp retaining section for engaging irregular edges of the at least one flange.
Modular Illumination Device
Disclosed is a light fixture having at least one housing extending between a first end and a second end, wherein the housing is mounted to a surface. One or more light modules has a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) in an electrical circuit with one another, wherein the electrical circuit is in communication with a power source. The light modules also have case having a first side having one or more electrical connectors extending outwardly therefrom, wherein the one or more electrical connectors are in communication with the electrical circuit and the power source, wherein the first side is contoured to an interior surface of the housing, and wherein a second side of the case is open. The case also has a lens sealingly engaged to the second. The one or more light modules is removably attached within the housing.
Predictive maintenance of automotive lighting
Systems, methods and apparatus of predictive maintenance of automotive lights. For example, a vehicle has: a vehicle light assembly; sensors configured on the vehicle to measure operating parameters of the vehicle light assembly; an artificial neural network configured to analyze the operating parameters of the vehicle light assembly as a function of time to generate a result; and at least one processor configured to generate a suggestion for a maintenance service of the vehicle light assembly based on the result from the artificial neural network analyzing the operating parameters of the vehicle light assembly. For example, the sensors can be configured to measure ambient light intensity, light intensity reflected by a surface illuminated by the light, current and/or voltage in the light, and/or light intensity at a location illuminated by both environment and the light.
LIGHTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A lighting device for a vehicle comprises: a semiconductor light emitting section; a projection lens for projecting light, which has been emitted from the semiconductor lighting section, in a predetermined light distribution pattern; a heat sink member having the semiconductor light emitting section mounted thereto; and a plate member provided between the projection lens and the heat sink member and having lower heat conductivity than the heat sink member. The projection lens is a resin lens. At least a part of a surface of the plate member, the surface facing the projection lens, is a lens-side diffusion surface.
LAMP FOR VEHICLE
A lamp for a vehicle including a lamp housing part configured to accommodate a light source in an internal lamp housing part space defined therein, an outer lens part coupled to one side of the lamp housing part and configured to cover the internal lamp housing part space, and a vibration part fixed to the lamp housing part, the vibration part including a first module fixed to a first side of the lamp housing part and a second module fixed to a second side of the lamp housing part and configured to face the first module, the first module includes a first magnet, and the second module including a second magnet configured to face the first magnet, a second magnet fixing portion configured to accommodate the second magnet, and a coil member provided at one side of the second magnet and accommodated in the second magnet fixing portion.
RECEIVING COMPONENT FOR A COVER LENS OF A HEADLAMP, ASSEMBLY, HEADLAMP FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND METHOD FOR CHANGING A COVER LENS
The present invention relates to a receiving component for a cover lens of a headlamp of a motor vehicle. The receiving component includes at least a carrier frame and a sealing element, wherein the carrier frame has a first connecting means for establishing an adhesive connection with the cover lens and a second connecting means for establishing a detachable connection with a housing of the headlamp, and wherein the sealing element is designed to seal a gap between the carrier frame and a body part of the motor vehicle.
HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A headlamp assembly for a vehicle has a housing including a bonding groove provided with at least one inner wall, and a lens to be assembled to the housing by means of an assembly end of the lens placed in a bonding element located in the bonding groove. A housing bonding element removal system is positioned on at least one inner wall of the bonding groove. A disassembly system has at least one disassembly element on the housing, the disassembly element being movable towards the lens and capable of disassembling the lens from the housing by pressing against the lens when moved.
