RAIL MOUNTED ACCESSORY CLAMPING AND LOCKING SYSTEM WITH POWER TRANSMISSION AND ON/OFF COMMAND
An electrically-powered accessory for vehicles includes a vehicle structure. A connector mechanically connects an electrically-powered accessory to vehicle structure. The connector includes a movable lock member that mechanically locks the electrically-powered accessory to the vehicle structure when the movable lock member is in a locked position. The movable lock member causes the electrically-powered accessory to be electrically connected to an electrical power supply of the vehicle when the movable lock member is in the locked position, and electrically disconnects the electrically-powered accessory from the vehicle power supply when the movable lock member is in the unlocked position.
LAMP ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A lamp assembly for a vehicle comprising a housing and a securing system for securing the lamp assembly to the vehicle body. The securing system is arranged in the housing and comprises at least one latch movable between a retracted position and a locking position ; an electromagnet to attract a ferromagnetic member secured to the latchin order to move the latch to the locking position; a receiver coupled to a transmitter located inside the vehicle body, the receiver and the transmitter being part of a wireless power transfer device, the receiver being configured to power the electromagnet; and a retaining system configured to retain the latch in the locking position and which can be released to an inactive state for allowing the latch to move to the retracted position.
Vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly with blind spot indicator module
A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror reflective element sub-assembly having a mirror reflective element, a mirror reflector, a mirror back plate, and indicator element. The indicator element includes a housing and a light source. The indicator element is associated with a blind spot detection system of the vehicle and includes a diffuser that diffuses light emitted by the light source. An icon is established through a metallic reflector coating disposed at the glass substrate. The icon includes a light-transmitting aperture. When the vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly is attached at the vehicle, the icon is at an upper quadrant of the mirror reflective element. When the vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly is attached at the vehicle and when the light source is activated, the icon is illuminated and is viewable by the driver of the vehicle.
INSTALLATION OF AUTOMOBILE ACCESSORY LIGHT FIXTURE MITIGATING RF EMISSIONS
A lighted accessory and/or corresponding method of installation seamlessly replace an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) lighting apparatus and/or accessory. The accessory includes a front side and back side with a circuit board positioned therebetween. One side of the accessory includes translucent portion(s). The circuit board includes a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) which are aligned with the translucent portion of the front side of the accessory such that when the LEDs are illuminated, light is emitted from the accessory. The circuit board also includes at least one microcontroller and a radio-frequency interference filter circuit wherein the microcontroller controls the LEDs and the radio-frequency interference filter circuit mitigates RF emissions.
VEHICLE WIRING SYSTEM, OPTICAL COUPLER, AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING VEHICLE WIRING SYSTEM
A vehicle wiring system includes a plurality of functional units to be mounted in a vehicle, an optical transmission line that is wired between the functional units and configured to transmit an optical signal of the functional units, an electric wire harness that is provided, in a partial section of the optical transmission line, together with the optical transmission line in a state of being integrated with the optical transmission line, and an optical coupler that is disposed in a portion of the optical transmission line other than the section and constitutes a part of the optical transmission line.
OPTICAL APPARATUS, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OPTICAL APPARATUS, AND HEADLIGHT
An optical apparatus capable of correcting field curvature easily, a method for manufacturing the optical apparatus, and a headlight including the optical apparatus. A lens, a plurality of solid-state light sources, and a substrate on which the solid-state light sources are mounted. The substrate includes a base material, which is rigid, and a mount surface, which is formed on the base material in a curved surface shape that substantially matches a focal plane shape of the lens, and on which a circuit pattern is formed. The solid-state light sources are mounted on the mount surface, and the substrate is positioned with respect to the lens such that a position of a focal plane of the lens substantially coincides with emission surfaces of the solid-state light sources, and thus field curvature can be easily corrected
Saddled vehicle
A rear frame (2) of a saddle-riding vehicle supports a rider seat (22) and a passenger seat (24). A tail lamp (26) is supported by rear end portions (66L, 66R) of the rear frame (2). The rear end portions (66L, 66R) of the rear frame (2) are open rearwardly. The tail lamp (26) is disposed in the open region and closes the region between the rear end portions (66L, 66R) of the rear frame (2).
Light system for use with a hitch receiver
Provided is a vehicle light system that can be usefully attached to a hitch receiver. The light system includes one or more lights attached to a frame. The frame includes a substantially horizontal central member, substantially vertical left and right members extending upward from the central member, and left and right extensions respectively coupled to the left and right members, each of the left and right extensions including at least one light. A hitch post extends from the frame and is configured to mount to the hitch receiver of a vehicle. The system can include an insulated power cord having a first end coupled to the one or more lights and a second end having a plug configured to connect to a power source of the vehicle. The one or more lights can be controlled by one or more switches, e.g., integrated with the frame or lights.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING AUXILIARY LIGHTING USING A VEHICLE ELECTRIC PLUG
An auxiliary apparatus may be used with a vehicle having an electric plug. The apparatus may include an auxiliary lighting system having a front facing auxiliary light, a controller, and auxiliary wiring that transmits an electric signal from the electric plug. The controller may be programmed to operate the auxiliary light based directly or indirectly on an electric signal from the electric plug.
Light source unit and vehicle front lamp using the light source unit
A light source unit including: a first light source module; a second light source module; and a light source arrangement portion between the first light source module and the second light source module. The first light source module and the second light source module are staggered in at least one of a front-and-back direction and a left-and-right direction.
