The optical member (29) includes: first region (A11) and two or more second regions (A21), wherein in the first region (A11), the light transmittance increases as separating from a mounting position of one light source (45), and in the second regions (A21), the light transmittance increases as approaching an outer peripheral portion from a central portion of the optical member (29) in a predetermined direction in places in contact with another adjacent second region (A21).

A leather cover for a vehicle interior assembly such as a vehicle seat, a steering wheel, a console, etc. includes a leather layer and an electrically conductive coating applied onto the leather layer. The electrically conductive coating is either applied to a finish side of the leather layer or to a flesh side of the leather layer. The electrically conductive coating may function as: a wire harness component and is connected to wiring of a wire harness system of a vehicle; an electrical resistance heater and is connected to wiring of a heater system of a vehicle; an electrically conductive touch control and is connected to wiring of a control system of a vehicle; or electroluminescent or electrochromic lighting and is connected to wiring of a lighting system of a vehicle.

Subsurface engraved vehicle light guide

An automotive light guide that displays subsurface engraved indicia to create an optical branding feature or another illuminated design element. In one implementation, the light guide has a body with a primary viewing outer side and a plurality of microablation sites located within the body. From a first viewing angle with respect to the primary viewing outer side, the plurality of microablation sites are configured to appear in a first indicia pattern, and from a second viewing angle, the plurality of microablation sites are configured to appear in a second indicia pattern. In another implementation, the light guide has a body with a planar engraving outer side and a rounded primary viewing outer side. The plurality of microablation sites are etched through the planar engraving side and are viewable as an indicia pattern through the rounded primary viewing outer side.

Subsurface engraved vehicle light guide

An automotive light guide that displays subsurface engraved indicia to create an optical branding feature or another illuminated design element. In one implementation, the light guide has a body with a primary viewing outer side and a plurality of microablation sites located within the body. From a first viewing angle with respect to the primary viewing outer side, the plurality of microablation sites are configured to appear in a first indicia pattern, and from a second viewing angle, the plurality of microablation sites are configured to appear in a second indicia pattern. In another implementation, the light guide has a body with a planar engraving outer side and a rounded primary viewing outer side. The plurality of microablation sites are etched through the planar engraving side and are viewable as an indicia pattern through the rounded primary viewing outer side.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL SWITCH DEVICE

A multifunctional switch device for operating a plurality of vehicle functions and services including an adjustment member which is a rotary-push-pull actuator; and an upper casing and a lower casing that together enclose a stationary inner body; an inner cover rotatable based on the rotation of the adjustment member; a pin; an electronic card; and an upper dome positioned on an upper surface of the electronic card. The multifunctional switch device further includes a lower dome positioned on a lower surface of the electronic card to generate an actuating signal for performing an assigned function. When the adjustment member and thus the pin are pulled in upwards direction, through the +y direction of the multifunctional switch device, the lower dome is also pulled up and come into contact with the lower surface of the electronic card under an action of an applied pulling force.
