PREDICTIVE AIRCRAFT PASSENGER CABIN SERVICE SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems and methods for monitoring passenger activity in an aircraft cabin environment to predict immediate future passenger needs. The systems and methods make use of sensors positioned within an aircraft cabin environment configured to sense condition changes of objects corresponding to predetermined service issues, device(s) usable by the service crew indicating the sensed condition changes, and processing circuitry configured to receive sensor signals and indicate the condition changes through the device(s) such that the service crew is made aware of the condition changes requiring actions to be completed by the service crew to attend to the immediate future passenger needs.
LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE OR UTILITY TASK VEHICLE
An accessory lighting assembly for vehicles. The accessory lighting assembly includes at least one attachment portion for selectively attaching the assembly to the vehicle wherever lighting is desired. The accessory lighting assembly includes at least one integrated lighting portion for selectively providing lighting to the interior of the vehicle. The accessory lighting assembly incorporates a grab handle for attaching to the at least one attachment portion for allowing a vehicle occupant a grip/handle for grabbing onto inside of the vehicle when desired.

LED lighting devices with high extraction efficiencies
A lighting device for a vehicle. The lighting device includes an LED having a central axis. light distribution of light emitted by the LED is substantially symmetric about the central axis. The lighting device also includes a reflector for reflecting at least a portion of the emitted light. The reflector is positioned relative to the LED such that a combined light distribution of the emitted light and reflected light is not symmetric about the central axis and a maximum light intensity direction of the combined light distribution of the emitted light and the reflected light is angled with respect to the central axis. The position of the reflector relative to the light-emitting semiconductor device is adjustable such that an adjustment to the position of the reflector changes a direction of the maximum light intensity direction of the combined light distribution.

Light bulb base connector
A light fixture having a bulb base connector limited to a DC supply with 10-30 volt DC power. The connector assembly utilizes threading, friction and/or detent connection for connecting a lightbulb assembly to the light fixture in vehicles. A dual threading system and a barrel connector are configured to connect the lightbulb to the light fixture and to supply power from the fixture to the light bulb. The system uses a unique bulb base and connector to adapt to preexisting fixtures.

Vehicle cargo compartment light
In one embodiment, a linear light emitting device comprises one or more linear extrusions collectively comprising a horizontal mounting extension, an array of light emitting diodes, a vertical support, and a linear support platform. In one embodiment, the light emitting device comprises a mounting extension that extends from the light emitting device for the bottom surface of the mounting extension to be mounted to a top rail of a vehicle cargo compartment (such as a trailer or cargo compartment of a truck) and a vertical support that positions a linear array of light emitting diodes above the top rail and oriented at a first orientation angle, such as 45 degrees, to the bottom surface of the horizontal mounting surface. In one embodiment, the linear light emitting device is mounted between two roof bows or below one or more roof bows.
SPEED-DEPENDENT DARK-MODE FOR POLICE VEHICLES
Method and apparatus are disclosed for speed-dependent dark-mode for police vehicles. An example vehicle includes a speed sensor for measuring a vehicle speed and a cabin. The cabin includes interior lamps and a dark-mode switch for activating a dark mode. The example vehicle also includes a controller that, when the dark mode is active, is configured to deactivate the interior lamps when the vehicle speed is less than a threshold and activate the interior lamps at a predetermined lowest luminance level when the vehicle speed is equal to or greater than the threshold.
