Systems, devices, and/or methods for managing vehicle bed extensions
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, which can comprise a platform. The platform can comprise a pair of brackets via which said platform is coupleable to corresponding flanges of a vehicle. The platform, once coupled, can extend a bed of the vehicle such that, if one or more transported items are larger than the bed of the vehicle, the one or more transported items are transportable via the vehicle.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR SAFETY SUPPORT WITH UNMANNED VEHICLES
In some embodiments, an apparatus, comprises an unmanned vehicle configured to be disposed with a vehicle and a processor operatively coupled to the unmanned vehicle. The processor is configured to receive a first signal indicating a stop of the vehicle without a user request and a second signal indicating a location of the vehicle. The processor is configured to determine, based on the location of the vehicle, a target location in a pre-defined area surrounding the vehicle. The processor is configured to send a third signal to the unmanned vehicle to instruct the unmanned vehicle to move to the target location to alert other vehicles via a warning regarding occurrence of the stop.

Mirror controller unit for emergency vehicle warning devices
A mirror controller unit is disclosed herein for controlling an associated auxiliary vehicle warning device. In one embodiment, the mirror controller unit includes a set of selectors located on at least one edge of a mirror body. The mirror controller unit includes a reflective mirror surface. An auxiliary vehicle warning device that is physically attached to a surface of a vehicle may be connected via wires to the mirror controller unit and operated by the set of selectors disposed on the mirror controller unit. In another embodiment, a mirror controller unit is disclosed with an integrated touch screen for performing control functions on an associated auxiliary vehicle warning device.
Combination mounting and storing device for a vehicle safety flag
Disclosed is a combination mounting and storing device for a vehicle safety flag that is used to mark an oversized load. The device includes a hollow cylindrical housing having an interior volume and a bobbin disposed therein. The bobbin includes a reel that is adapted to retract and extend an elongated cord that is attached to the vehicle safety flag. The device further includes a magnet that allows a user to removably mount the device onto the inside of a truck bed or trunk. When the device is in use, the cord is extended outward so as to allow a user to secure the safety flag onto the extreme rear of the projecting load. The device can be mounted to the rear of the vehicle when transporting an oversized load and can be easily stored in a glove compartment when it is not in use.
