LIGHTING CIRCUIT AND VEHICLE LAMP

A lighting circuit which lights a semiconductor light source, the lighting circuit includes a drive circuit configured to receive a PWM signal from a controller, to generate a drive current to the semiconductor light source, and to switch the drive current according to the PWM signal. When a non-input state of the PWM signal exceeds a predetermined time, the lighting circuit is configured to assert an abnormality detection signal and to output the abnormality detection signal to the controller.

DRONE-ENHANCED VEHICLE EXTERNAL LIGHTS

Techniques for drone device control are provided. In one example, the technique includes monitoring, by a drone device operatively coupled to a processor and allocated to a vehicle in operation, one or more conditions associated with the vehicle. The technique also includes, in response to identifying, by the drone device, a defined condition of the one or more conditions: moving, by the drone device, to a position relative to the vehicle and determined based on the defined condition; and performing, by the drone device, an indication operation determined based on the defined condition.

A circuit arrangement for operating a plurality of lighting devices having: a first control component, which is connected to a first lighting device or is formed integrally with a first lighting device; at least one second control component, which is connected to a second lighting device or is formed integrally with a second lighting device; at least one main control device, which is connected to the first and to the second control component and is configured to supply the control components with an operating voltage; and at least one data communications line, which is connected to the two control components and to the main control device. The main control device is is able to transmit a first position coding signal for the position coding of the first control component and at least one second position coding signal for the position coding of the second control component.

Tail light for a motor vehicle

A tail light includes a housing with a translucent cover panel and one or more flexible light guides at least partly arranged in the housing. Each light guide contains one or more fibers which extend between two ends of the respective light guide in the longitudinal direction thereof. One or more laser light sources are provided at one end of each light guide, and the supplied light produces an emission of light out of the respective light guide along the longitudinal direction thereof. At least one part of the emitted light exits the tail light via the cover panel as a first light emission. An additional lighting device with one or more LEDs is at least partly arranged in the housing and is configured such that light originating from the LED(s) exits the tail light via the cover panel as a second light emission.
