Individualizable lighting system for a vehicle
A lighting system for a vehicle and a corresponding motor vehicle is implemented with personalized or individualizable lighting functions. A part of a lighting device is reserved for implementing main lighting functions in accordance with legal requirements and another part of the lighting device is reserved for generating individualizable lighting functions. The part for individualizable lighting functions can be freely programmed and actuated via a user interface, such as a smartphone, within the scope of the technical power limitations of the individual lighting devices while taking into consideration legal requirements.
EXTERIOR AIRCRAFT IMAGE PROJECTOR
An exterior aircraft image projector includes at least one light source, providing a light output in operation; an optical system configured for transforming the light output of the at least one light source into a light beam and projecting said light beam onto the ground below the aircraft and the of the aircraft; a photo detector arranged to detect a brightness level (Iambient) of the ground or the exterior and configured to provide a corresponding brightness signal; and a controller, coupled to the photo detector and the at least one light source configured to control an intensity of the light output of the at least one light source as a function of the brightness level (Iambient), as provided by the photo detector via the brightness signal.
AUTONOMOUS SYSTEM TERMINUS ASSISTANCE TECHNIQUES
Various systems and methods for providing assistance at the end of an autonomous system journey are provided. A system can include an autonomous system configured to transport the user, a first sensor coupled to the autonomous system and configured to provide a sensor stream of an environment between the autonomous system and a terminus, and a terminus assistance processor mechanically coupled to the autonomous system. In an example, the terminus assistance processor can receive and process the sensor stream, detect and can track the user in the environment in response to the sensor stream, and can provide status information to a first mobile device based on the sensor stream.
Projection device and control method thereof
A projection device adapted to be placed on a vehicle and a control method of the projection device are provided. The projection device includes a storage device storing image data of at least one projection image, a projection module, a distance detection device measuring a projection distance from the distance detection device to a projection plane, and a control device electrically connected to the storage device, the projection module, and the distance detection device. The control device enables the projection module to project the projection image and controls brightness or size of the projection image according to the corresponding projection distance. The projection device is activated by opening a door of the vehicle, and power of the projection device comes from the vehicle. The projection image can be adjusted according to the projection distance to maintain stable brightness and the size of the projection image.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING PATTERN SKIN LIGHTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A method of controlling a pattern skin lighting device for a vehicle is provided. The method includes generating a plurality of random numbers and accumulating the number of continuous turn-on times for each lightening cell in an arrangement of the lightening cells configuring a pattern skin lighting device. Additionally, the method includes selecting a turn-on target lightening cell, lightening cells having an accumulative value of the number of continuous turn-on times that is a predetermined reference value or less, among the lightening cells corresponding to the generated random number, and turning on a light emitting element of the selected turn-on target lightening cell.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SURROUNDING LAMP SYSTEM OF VEHICLE
A system and method of controlling a surrounding lamp system of a vehicle are provided. The method includes sensing an approach of the user to the vehicle acquiring an image of the user with respect to a vehicle body, when the user approaches the vehicle body. A motion of the user, the motion having directionality with respect to the vehicle body is determined from the image and a surrounding lamp is then operated based on the motion having directionality with respect to the vehicle body.
Lighting control apparatus and lighting control method
A vehicle control apparatus includes: a distance acquiring unit that acquires a distance between the vehicle and a mobile terminal having an unlocking function of the vehicle; and a lighting control unit that controls lit states of room lights and under lights that are provided to the vehicle.
PUDDLE LAMP
A puddle lamp including a light source composed of a single light emitting body, a lens set, a projection film with a fixed image and a projection lens is provided. The lens set is disposed at a light path downstream side of the light source. The projection film is disposed at a light path downstream side of the lens set. The lens is disposed at a light path downstream side of the projection film. An optical axis of the light source is substantially parallel to an optical axis of the lens set, and an optical axis of the projection lens is not perpendicular to an image plane of the puddle lamp. Furthermore, another puddle lamp is also provided.
Method for actuating at least one main headlamp of a lighting unit of a motor vehicle, lighting unit, computer program product and machine-readable medium
A procedure is provided for actuating at least one main headlamp of a lighting unit for a motor vehicle. An overall light distribution generated by means of at least two segments of a segmented light module is allocated to a light function. The light control switches on or switches off the light function depending on at least one electric input signal of the light control. In order to facilitate the application of an animation of a vehicle lighting for a plurality of vehicle and environmental situations, the overall light distribution of the light function is built up from a plurality of light distribution segments (a-f; a-b; a-c). Each of the light distribution segments (a-f; a-b; a-c) is generated by means of at least one segment of the segmented light module. The plurality of light distribution segments (a-f; a-b; a-c) are switched on and/or switched off by the light control in a previously determined and stored sequence.
