A display system and an in-vehicle system include a display device provided at a vehicle and configured to display a person image indicating a person at a position visible from the outside of the vehicle; and a controller configured to acquire surrounding status information indicating a surrounding status of the vehicle and control the display device based on the acquired surrounding status information, thereby the executing external display processing of displaying the person image. As a result, the display system and the in-vehicle system provide an advantageous effect that easily-understandable displaying can be performed.

Vehicle illumination system having a lens with a sawtooth profile

An illumination system includes a light source that is fixed to a vehicle mount structure to direct light toward ground level. A lens covers the light source and includes an outer surface with a sawtooth profile. The sawtooth profile includes a plurality of teeth that are spaced apart from each other by flat surfaces, and wherein each light is generally aligned with a flat surface between adjacent teeth.

Vehicular door handle assembly with illumination module

A vehicular door handle assembly includes a base portion configured to mount at a handle region of a vehicle door of a vehicle, a handle portion movable relative to the base portion, and an illumination module disposed in the handle portion. The illumination module includes a housing and an electronic circuit assembly having a light emitting diode (LED) and a circuit board with a user actuatable input disposed at a side thereof. The illumination module includes a light pipe in the housing and at least partially along the handle portion and having a light receiving end at the LED. The LED is actuated responsive at least in part to actuation by the user of the user actuatable input. Light emitted by the LED, when actuated, is received at the light receiving end of the light pipe, whereby the light pipe provides illumination at least partially along the handle portion.
