Light assembly for the lighting and/or the signaling of a motor vehicle
The subject matter of the invention is a light assembly which comprises means for emitting and means for focusing one or more light beams for the lighting or the signaling of a vehicle. It also comprises a mask which extends below the focusing means. This mask has at least a first surface that can be seen by any person passing close to the vehicle and at least a second surface opposite the first surface. The mask is made from a dark diffusing material and a reflective material coating is deposited on part of the second surface while leaving a portion of this second surface free of reflective coating. Additional light-emitting means are placed opposite the second surface, such that the light rays emitted by the additional light-emitting means can pass through the mask via the portion free of reflective coating.
Printed LED rylene dye welcome/farewell lighting
An illumination apparatus for a vehicle is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a lighting device disposed on the vehicle. At least one detection sensor is configured to detect a proximity of an occupant and a controller is configured to identify an approach and a departure of the occupant. The controller is configured to control the lighting device to output a first emission of light in response to the approach and a second emission in response to the departure.
Automotive lamp control
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for configuring automotive lamp illumination control are provided. One example method includes, at a computing device, generating a graphical user interface for configuring at an automotive lamp illumination pattern. The graphical user interface includes user input elements and is displayed by way of a display device. An input command is received by way of at least one of the plurality of user input elements. The input command corresponds to the at least one of the user input elements. A message is transmitted to an automotive lamp control device by way of a communication path including a first communication port of the computing device and a second communication port of the automotive lamp control device, based on the received input command. The message is received at the automotive lamp control device, and an action is performed in response to receiving the message.
Illuminated door handle
A door handle includes a casing inside which an accommodation space is provided, and a lamp unit disposed in the accommodation space. The lamp unit includes a light emission element, a circuit board on which the light emission element is mounted, and a combination member including a housing and a light guiding lens. The housing supports the circuit board, and the light guiding lens guides light emitted from the light emission element in a predetermined direction. In the door handle, a connection wire that supplies driving current to at least the light emission element is connected to the circuit board, and a portion of the connection wire is wound around a portion of the combination member.
Autonomous vehicle interaction system
A system for interacting with an autonomous vehicle includes a sensor included in the autonomous vehicle and configured to generate sensor data corresponding to a projected hailing area; a projection system included in the autonomous vehicle and configured to generate the projected hailing area on a surface proximate the autonomous vehicle; and a processor included in the autonomous vehicle and configured to execute instructions to: analyze the sensor data to detect the person within the projected hailing area; and in response to detecting the person within the projected hailing area, cause an acknowledgment indicator to be outputted.
Motor vehicle lighting system for emitting position-limited ground projections
A motor vehicle lighting system (2) for emitting position-limited ground projections (B4a, B4c) for a motor vehicle (1) with a stepped height-adjustable chassis (3), wherein at least two pre-defined chassis height levels (S0, S1) are provided, namely a zero level (S0) and at least one higher operating level (S1), wherein the motor vehicle lighting system (2) includes at least two projection devices (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d), and a control unit (5) connected to each projection device (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) for individually controlling each projection device (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d).
VEHICLE SIGNAL
A visual signal system for a vehicle projects a shaped light symbol onto the ground. For example, a visual signal system for a vehicle can include a light source configured to project light outside of a vehicle. In an example, the visual signal system can also include a ground projection adjustor configured to adjust the light source to be a projection of light on the ground. In an example, the visual signal system can also include a connection interface configured to transmit instructions to the ground projection adjustor and the light source.
Motor vehicle
A motor vehicle has a surroundings-illuminating device for producing a light distribution on the ground surrounding the motor vehicle. The surroundings-illuminating device includes one or more projection modules for producing the light distribution, wherein every projection module has at least one light source and an array of projection optical systems which from the light of the at least one light source generates at least a part of the light distribution.
HEATED AND ILLUMINATED WIPER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A wiper assembly includes a wiper arm, a wiper blade carried on the wiper arm and a light source provided between the wiper arm and the raised wiper blade. The wiper assembly may also include a heating element and a controller to control operation of the light source and the heating element.
DIRECTIONAL APPROACH LIGHTING
A lighting system of a vehicle is provided herein. A projector is coupled to a side structure of the vehicle. A sensor detects a remote device carried on a person approaching the vehicle. Based on a detected location of the remote device relative to the vehicle, the projector projects a light pattern onto a ground surface to define an illuminated path leading up to the vehicle and pointing towards the person.
