A system includes a medical probe and a position-tracking system. The medical probe includes a distal end, and one or more distal magnetic position sensors. The medical probe further includes a proximal-end assembly, and one or more proximal magnetic position sensors. The position-tracking system includes a memory, which is configured to hold values indicative of known relative positions between the distal magnetic position sensors and the proximal magnetic position sensors. The position-tracking system includes a processor, which is configured to receive one or more signals indicative of estimated positions of the proximal magnetic position sensors and of the distal magnetic position sensors, as measured by the position-tracking system, and to initiate a responsive action in response to detecting a discrepancy between the known relative positions and the estimated positions.

The present disclosure is directed to arthroscopic visualization systems and methods. The visualization system can include a camera with a fluid inflow path, wherein a proximal end of the camera is configured to fluidly connect a fluid reservoir to the fluid inflow path. The system can also include a cannula with a lumen, wherein the lumen is configured to be fluidly connected to the fluid inflow path at a distal end of the camera. In addition, the system can also include a scope, wherein the scope is configured to be connected to the distal end of the camera and a portion of the scope is configured to be inserted into the lumen of the cannula.

Devices and methods for treating rhinitis are provided. An integrated therapy and imaging device is provided for single handheld use. The device may have a hollow elongated cannula, a therapeutic element coupled to a distal portion of the cannula, an imaging assembly coupled to the cannula to provide visualization of the therapeutic element, and an articulating region operably coupled to the imaging assembly to articulate the imaging assembly. The imaging assembly may be articulated so as to translate vertically, laterally, axially, and/or rotationally.

Devices and methods for treating rhinitis are provided. An integrated therapy and imaging device is provided for single handheld use. The device may have a hollow elongated cannula, a therapeutic element coupled to a distal portion of the cannula, an imaging assembly coupled to the cannula to provide visualization of the therapeutic element, and an articulating region operably coupled to the imaging assembly to articulate the imaging assembly. An apparatus includes a shaft, an imaging head, and a processor. The shaft includes a distal end sized to fit through a human nostril into a human nasal cavity. The imaging head includes an image sensor assembly, a plurality of light sources, and a plurality of collimators. At least some of the light sources are positioned adjacent to the image sensor assembly. Each collimator is positioned over a corresponding light source of the plurality of light sources. The processor is configured to activate the light sources in a predetermined sequence. The image sensor assembly is configured to capture images of a surface illuminated by the light sources as the light sources are activated in the predetermined sequence.
