Feeding system for an agricultural implement
A feeding system for an agricultural implement includes a hopper configured to receive agricultural crop material. An auger extending across the hopper is configured to meter the agricultural crop material from the hopper into a tapered passageway. A movable belt is disposed along one side of the tapered passageway and is configured to urge the agricultural crop material through the tapered passageway toward an outlet of the tapered passageway to form the agricultural crop material into a mat having a thickness substantially equal to a width of the outlet.

Agricultural harvester with paddles rotated about an axis of rotation that is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the harvester
An agricultural harvester (10) defining a longitudinal axis (LI) includes a chassis; at least one ground engaging traction member carried by the chassis (12); a cleaning system (26) carried by the chassis that is configured to clean crop material; and a generally vertical crop material elevator (60) carried by the chassis. The crop material elevator (60) includes a housing (78) having an inlet (76) formed therethrough; a driving loop (88) held within the housing; a plurality of paddles (90) connected to the driving loop; and a rotating element (92) configured to rotate the plurality of paddles about an axis of rotation that is generally parallel to the longitudinal axis. The agricultural harvester (10) also includes a crop material conveyor (70) configured to supply cleaned crop material to the inlet of the crop material elevator from the cleaning system.

Crop processing apparatus in a combine harvester
A combine harvester includes a grain pan arranged to catch a crop stream, the grain pan being driven in an oscillating manner to convey the crop stream rearwardly to a rear edge. A cleaning unit includes a fan for generating a cleaning airstream which is directed under the rear edge. The grain pan includes a floor profile which defines a transverse profile having ridges and troughs. The troughs provide a plurality of longitudinal channels, wherein the ridge-to-trough height increases in the direction of conveyance. Crop material conveyed by the grain pan experiences channels that deepen towards the rear edge of the pan.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO SENSE THE WEIGHT OF GRAIN IN A GRAIN ELEVATOR
Methods and apparatus to sense the weight of grain in a grain elevator are disclosed. A disclosed example grain elevator includes a grain transport member to transport grain, a driving member to move the grain transport member, a first tension sensor to sense a first tension in the driving member, and a weight determiner to estimate a weight of the grain based on the first tension.
Combine harvester grain cleaners
A combine harvester grain cleaner. The grain cleaner includes an upper, relatively moveable framework supporting one or more grain sieves, one or more sources of drive for causing reciprocating movement of the one or more grain sieves, a lower, relatively fixed framework supporting one or more grain or tailings sheets, and a vibrator connected to the one or more grain and tailings sheets for causing a vibratory motion thereof and for, through the vibratory motion, causing movement of grain thereon in a predetermined direction. The vibratory motion has a higher frequency than a frequency of the reciprocation of the one or more grain sieves.
