Tractor trailer with included battery charging
A vehicle includes a charging dock carried by the vehicle, a safety arm carried by the vehicle, a battery carried by the safety arm, and a light source on the safety arm that is in electrical communication with the battery. The battery is in electrical communication with the charging dock and the charging dock charges the battery.
LIGHT SYSTEM, METHOD OF FORMING TUNNELS OF LIGHT, A MOBILE 360° LIGHT SYSTEM, AND A METHOD OF CLEANING THE MOBILE 360° LIGHT SYSTEM
A light system comprising: (a) a plurality of light sources connected to a vehicle and creating light that radiates away from the vehicle so that the light substantially surrounds the vehicle; and (b) one or more sensors that detect light from another light source; and wherein one or more of the plurality of light sources are turned off in a direction of the another light source while some of the plurality of light sources remain on so that a tunnel having a reduction or absence of light is formed in the direction of the another light source between the plurality of light sources that remain on.
AUTONOMOUS LAWN MOWER
An autonomous lawn mower is described. The autonomous lawn mower comprises a chassis supporting a podium. In some examples, the podium comprises a top portion that may support one or more sensors, antennas and/or cameras that may be used to provide environmental information regarding the surroundings of the autonomous lawn mower. In additional or alternative examples, the autonomous lawn mower receives, via a wireless receiver, a signal from a remote controller, the signal comprising one or more of an emergency stop signal or a pause signal. Based at least in part on the signal comprising the emergency stop signal, causing the autonomous lawn mower to invoke an emergency stop procedure, or based at least in part on the signal comprising the pause signal, causing the autonomous lawn mower to invoke a pause procedure.
AUTONOMOUS LAWN MOWER
An autonomous lawn mower is described. The autonomous lawn mower comprises a chassis supporting a podium that is raked forward with respect to a horizontal plane. In some examples, the podium comprises a top portion that may support one or more sensors, antennas and/or cameras that may be used to provide environmental information regarding the surroundings of the autonomous lawn mower. In additional or alternative examples, the podium may facilitate communication services to and/or from the autonomous lawn mower. Such a podium may improve the operation of the mower by a user when manually (or semi-autonomously controlled) while optimizing a field of view of such sensors with respect to the mowable area.
Light assembly for attachment to a surface of a vehicle
A light assembly for attachment to a surface of a vehicle includes a vehicle base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle, and a light head coupled to the vehicle base and including a plurality of light emitting diodes and a lens. The lens has a plurality of total internal reflection lenses. Each total internal reflection lens has a truncated frustoconical cross-sectional shape.
Illumination control system for mobile machines
An illumination control system for a mobile machine that operates in coordination with other mobile machines is configured to adjust an illumination lamp disposed on the mobile machine and directed in a travel direction of the machine. The illumination control system includes a positioning/location device that can determine a proximity distance between the mobile machine and a second mobile machine approaching in the travel direction. The illumination control system also includes an electronic controller configured to adjust the illumination device based on the proximity distance as determined. The illumination control system may find particular usefulness in paving and/or milling operations.
PROTECTION MECHANISM FOR WORKING VEHICLE, AND WORKING VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
A protection mechanism for a working vehicle includes a roof above an operator's seat and including a cutout extending along a top-bottom direction, and an electric device at least partially located in the cutout. The cutout has a dimension along a vehicle-body-width direction that is uniform or substantially uniform along a front-to-rear direction or increases in the front-to-rear direction. The cutout has a thickness along the top-bottom direction that decreases in the front-to-rear direction. The roof include, in an upper surface thereof, a first groove located on an opposite side of the cutout from the electric device and extending in a direction away from the cutout.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle includes a prime mover provided on a vehicle body, a first indicator light provided on the vehicle body, a second indicator light provided on a working device connected to the vehicle body, and an integrated controller including a first controller portion to control the prime mover, and a second controller portion to control the first indicator light and the second indicator light.
Adaptive work vehicle lighting system and method of adaptively illuminating a work area
An adaptive lighting system for a work vehicle controlled by an operator from an operator station and having a work tool and a method for illuminating a work area are provided. The system includes at least one lighting member configured to illuminate at least one portion of a work area, an actuator coupled to the at least one lighting member and configured to position the at least one lighting member relative to the operator station, and a controller in communication with the actuator and configured to control positioning of the at least one lighting member via the actuator based on an operator control position and a position of the work tool.
Light system, method of forming tunnels of light, a mobile 360° light system, and a method of cleaning the mobile 360° light system
A light system having: (a) a plurality of light sources connected to a vehicle and creating light that radiates away from the vehicle so that the light substantially surrounds the vehicle; and (b) one or more sensors that detect light from another light source; and wherein one or more of the plurality of light sources are turned off in a direction of the another light source while some of the plurality of light sources remain on so that a tunnel having a reduction or absence of light is formed in the direction of the another light source between the plurality of light sources that remain on.
