A processor may be configured to receive information from a o vehicle sensing system, a vehicle communication system, or a detection system, and may generate a signal. A controller may be configured to provide one or more light control signals to modify at least one light characteristic of at least one of the plurality of independently addressable LED segments based on the signal.
LED RETROFIT VEHICLE SIGNALING LAMP WITH PROJECTION LED LIGHT SOURCE, SMARTPHONE APP FOR CONTROLLING IT AND CORRESPONDING SYSTEM
An LED retrofit signaling lamp is described herein. The lamp includes a lamp body, which includes a cap, a projection part, and a burner part between the cap and the projection part. Power contacts are exposed from the cap. A projection LED light source is provided in the projection part and angled to provide a projected image near to the vehicle when activated. A signaling LED light source is provided in the burner part angled to emit non-projected light via the projection part at angles that avoid the emitted light being blocked by the projection LED light source. The projection LED light source and the signaling LED light source are electrically coupled to the power contacts in parallel to each other.
LAMP ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A lamp assembly for a vehicle comprising a housing and a securing system for securing the lamp assembly to the vehicle body. The securing system is arranged in the housing and comprises at least one latch movable between a retracted position and a locking position ; an electromagnet to attract a ferromagnetic member secured to the latchin order to move the latch to the locking position; a receiver coupled to a transmitter located inside the vehicle body, the receiver and the transmitter being part of a wireless power transfer device, the receiver being configured to power the electromagnet; and a retaining system configured to retain the latch in the locking position and which can be released to an inactive state for allowing the latch to move to the retracted position.
VEHICULAR VISION SYSTEM WITH REMOTE DISPLAY FEATURE
A vehicular vision system includes at least one camera disposed at a vehicle a wireless communication module and an electronic control unit (ECU) that includes electronic circuitry and associated software. The electronic circuitry of the ECU includes an image processor for processing image data captured by the camera. The vehicular vision system, responsive to receiving a remote viewing communication from a remote device exterior of and remote from the vehicle, (i) enables at least one light source of the vehicle to illuminate a region and (ii) captures one or more frames of image data representative of at least a portion of the illuminated region. The vehicular vision system wirelessly transmits the one or more frames of image data to the remote device for display of images at the remote device.
LIGHT INTENSITY CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A light intensity control system in a vehicle enables the head lamp of the vehicle and the display of the instrument cluster to switch between one or more beam position depending on the ambient light intensity directly in the field view of the driver's eye.
Attachable and detachable light assembly for an electric powered personal transport vehicle
Embodiments of the present disclosure include a wireless remote control or remote control application for controlling the lighting of an electronic personal transportation vehicle. Embodiments can solve problems related to sharing electronic personal transportation vehicles by uniquely identifying a user, and allowing that user to control the lighting of the electronic personal transportation vehicle. In this manner, other users can control the lighting at different times, depending on the specific person that is using the electronic personal transportation vehicle at any given time.
Multi-section LED light bar with driver
A lighting assembly for use with a vehicle includes a light bar having a one or more circuit boards positioned within one or more housings wherein each circuit board includes light emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted to a surface thereof. The light bar may be divided into portions wherein each portion has its own housing. The light bar is operationally connected to an electronic control unit (ECU), wherein the ECU controls operation of the light bar and its components. The ECU is operationally connected to an electrical system of the vehicle such that the ECU can receive signals, commands, and/or information from the vehicle. The ECU is adapted to control the light bar, including illumination of LEDs thereon, based on the signals, commands, and/or information from the vehicle. The ECU is further adapted to emit and/or control audio output based on the signals, commands, and/or information from the vehicle.
VEHICLE SIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR HAVING MEANS TO DISPLAY INFORMATION TO COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER INDIVIDUALS OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE
A vehicle side rear view mirror having means to display information is used to communicate with other individuals outside of the vehicle. The side rear view mirror assembly includes a base to connect it to the vehicle, a mirror case fixed to the base, at least one light source to display forward through a lens an emoticon or other symbol, and at least one controller to turn the assembly on. The assembly may also include a voice recording or other sound to communicate with other individuals outside of the vehicle. The controller, which is located remotely, could be pushed once or twice to turn on the light source. The light source could be used as a marker light.
