VEHICLE AND PEDESTRIAN ALERT SYSTEM AND VEHICLE INCLUDING AN ALERT SYSTEM
A vehicle alert system and method are provided. The vehicle alert system and method provide for a non-audible alert upon actuation of an actuation area, such as a car horn. The non-audible alert may include operating or actuating one or more lights. A mobile application may be provided for providing an alert in response to the actuation of the actuation area.
Vehicle communication system
A vehicle communication system is provided. The system includes a housing having a first portion slidably affixed to a second portion. A first display is affixed between a first upper arm and a first lower arm of the first portion. A second display is affixed between a second upper arm and a second lower arm of the second portion. The first display and the second display are disposed along distinct parallel planes, such that the first portion and the second portion can selectively move between an extended position and a collapsed position. A fastener is disposed on each of the first end of the housing and a second end of the housing. A control circuit includes a power supply, a processor, and a memory disposed within the housing, and wherein the first and second displays can display a message stored on the memory across the first and second displays.
Wireless doorsill plate with changeable display information and power-saving mechanism
A wireless doorsill plate with changeable display information and power-saving mechanism includes a baseplate, a battery module, a radio frequency module, a display module and an energy-saving module. A circuit board is provided on the baseplate, the battery module is disposed on the baseplate and electrically connected to the circuit board, and the battery module is used to generate an electric power. The radio frequency module is disposed on the circuit board and used to receive an activation signal to generate a wireless signal. The display module is assembled on the circuit board and has a backlight unit connected to the battery module. The energy-saving module is disposed on the circuit board and electrically connected to the battery module. According to the wireless signal the energy-saving module reduces the electric power generated by the battery module in order to turn on the backlight unit.
Brake light for truck bed enclosure
An auxiliary third brake light which is installed on a removable or collapsible truck bed enclosure or frame is disclosed. The auxiliary third brake light is preferably not physically secured by adhesive or mechanical fastener to the truck bed, cab or body or any part of the truck. Rather, the parts of the auxiliary third brake light that are mounted to the truck bed cover and contact the truck bed, cab or body is pressed into contact. In this way, when the truck bed cover is collapsed or removed, the user can have full use of the truck bed. The parts of the auxiliary third brake light that contact the truck bed, cab or body are pulled off therefrom. When the truck bed cover is deployed to the erected position or put back on the truck bed, the parts of the third brake light that contact the truck bed, cab or body are properly repositioned back into position.
Multicolor data control
Examples provide a vehicle multicolor light control system for managing light devices using serial data communication. A vehicle includes a plurality of multicolor light devices and a plurality of physical light control switches. A light controller device acts as an intermediary device between the light devices and the switch devices. The light controller device sends a data packet including instructions for controlling light activation, light deactivation, color combinations of the light, flash pattern of the light device and other functions of the light device in response to user activation or deactivation of one or more of the physical switch devices, a vehicle function activation, input from a user interface device or other data indicating a user-selected mode. The instructions in the data packet can control a single light device or multiple light devices within the same light device zone.
Vehicle wheel units
Systems, methods, tangible non-transitory computer-readable media, and devices associated with the operation of a vehicle are provided. For example, a wheel unit system can receive vehicle data including information associated with states of a vehicle. Further, the vehicle can include wheel wells associated with wheel units that are configured to generate indications associated with the states of the vehicle. The wheel unit system can also determine indications to generate on the wheel units based at least in part on the vehicle data. Furthermore, the wheel unit system can generate the indications on the wheel units. The indications can, for example, include visual indications or auditory indications.
Apparatus and method for transmitting vehicle information
Methods and systems are provided for generating a signal based on the information of the information system and transmitting/broadcasting the signal to the other vehicle. For example, a method includes receiving, by a processor, an indication that an information system of a vehicle is activated and in response to receiving the indication, generating, by the processor, a signal based on the activated information system of the vehicle. The method further includes broadcasting the signal.
Vehicle interior lighting and illumination
One or more light sources, one or more detectors, a processor, and a controller are configured to provide spot illumination that follows a moving object, a moving occupant, or a portion of a moving occupant in the vehicle.
Warning Light Controller
A controller for a warning light is disclosed. The controller is composed of a housing, a light emitting element and a control unit. The control unit is in operable communication with the light emitting element of the controller and a light emitting element of a warning light. The controller instructs the light emitting element of the warning light and the light emitting element of the controller to display light in the same lighting mode, which allows vehicle operators to immediately know the lighting mode of the warning light by viewing the lighting mode of the controller.
Helmet lighting system
A helmet lighting system includes a display attachable to a helmet which is selectively illuminated in response to receiving a wireless signal transmitted from a wireless transmitter operably coupled to a brake or direction signal light of the motorcycle. The display includes flexible base housing attachable to an outer surface of the helmet that at least partially houses an illumination module. A flexible applique overlies the illumination module and is at least partially transparent or translucent so as to pass light from LEDs of the illumination module therethrough. The applique is removably attachable to the base housing and/or the illumination module and may be replaced with other appliques having different logos or indicia.
