USER INTERFACE FOR A DENTAL MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
Some of the embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a dental measurement method comprising, for example, measuring an orientation of a dental measurement device which includes a user interface, and displaying information on said user interface based on said orientation.
Mobile phone-mounted periscope and healthcare systems and methods using a mobile phone-mounted periscope for recording personal health status for remote and automated diagnoses
Dental periscopes having mounting clips configured to couple to mobile devices are disclosed. A patient can mount the dental periscope to a mobile device by coupling the mounting clip of the periscope to the mobile device. The patient can then use the mobile device-mounted dental periscope to capture image and/or video data of one or more dental structures. The captured image/video data can be sent to a remote system to obtain a remote dental diagnosis based on the captured data. The remote diagnosis may be an automated diagnosis generated by a trained machine learning classifier.
Systems and methods for remote dental monitoring
An intraoral imaging system comprising an intraoral adapter. The intraoral adapter may be operably coupled to a mobile device. The intraoral adapter may comprise an elongated housing comprising a viewing channel. The viewing channel may define a field of view of an intraoral region of a subject's mouth for intraoral scanning using a camera of a mobile device. The elongated housing may comprise a flange that is positioned outside of the field of view of the intraoral region of the subject's mouth. The intraoral imaging system may further comprise an image processing unit configured to (i) process a plurality of intraoral images and/or videos captured using the camera of the mobile device, and (ii) determine a dental condition of the subject based at least in part on the plurality of intraoral images and/or videos.

APPARATUS FOR FACILITATING ACQUISITION OF A SCAN AND INTRAORAL SCANNING PROCEDURES
The present disclosure relates to scan gauges, a kit of scan gauges, and methods for facilitating the acquisition of a scan during an intraoral scanning procedure using an intraoral scanner, including: an elongate body having an attachment portion configured to attach the elongate body with an implant in a patient's mouth, the implant having a longitudinal axis, whereby the elongate body is adapted to extend substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the implant when mounted to the implant; the elongate body having a substantially planar upper surface and one or more side walls extending downwardly away from the upper surface; wherein the upper surface and the one or more side walls are observable in a resulting scan when the intraoral scanner scans the apparatus in a direction perpendicular to the upper surface.

ORAL PATIENT TRACKING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A patient tracking device for insertion into an oral cavity includes a sensor housing comprising a first surface shaped to correspond to a pallet within the oral cavity. At least a portion of the first surface affixes the sensor housing to the oral cavity. An electromagnetic sensor is coupled to the sensor housing.
AREA OF INTEREST OVERLAY ON DENTAL SITE USING AUGMENTED REALITY
A system comprises an image capture device, an augmented reality (AR) display to display, and a processing device. The processing deice receives image data of a dental arch from the image capture device and processes the image data using a plurality of detection rules, where each detection rule detects one or more dental conditions. The processing device determines a dental condition for the dental arch based on the processing, determines a position of an area of interest on the dental arch, wherein the area of interest is associated with the dental condition, generates a visual overlay comprising an indication of the dental condition at the position of the area of interest, and outputs the visual overlay to the AR display, wherein the visual overlay is superimposed over a view of the dental arch on the AR display at the position of the area of interest.
