The light source apparatus includes a light source, a collimator which is arranged to face the light source and includes a reflection portion for adjusting a focal length of light incident from the light source to the collimator, and a light guide arranged on an emission side of the collimator. The reflection portion of the collimator includes a normal focus area in which the light emitted from the light source and incident to the collimator is converted into substantially parallel light, a long focus area in which the light incident to the collimator is converted into slightly divergent light in comparison with the substantially parallel light, and a short focus area in which the light incident to the collimator is converted into slightly convergent light in comparison with the substantially parallel light.

A computer system obtains a first image of a first driver in an interior of a first vehicle and separates, from the first image, a first driver image from a first background image of the interior of the first vehicle. The computer system obtains a second background image and generates a second image by overlaying the first driver image on the second background image. The second image is added to a corpus of training images to be used by a machine learning system to generate a model for monitoring vehicle drivers. In some embodiments, at least one of the first driver image and the second background image is adjusted to match lighting conditions, average intensities, and sizes of the first driver image and the second background image.

A system for displaying information to an occupant of a vehicle includes a microphone, a camera for capturing images of an environment surrounding the vehicle, a display, and a controller in electrical communication with the microphone, the camera, and the display. The controller is programmed to receive a voice command from the occupant using the microphone, determine at least one characteristic of the requested object based on the voice command, capture an image of the environment using the camera, where the environment includes a relevant object, and to identify a location of the relevant object in the environment based at least in part on the image and the at least one characteristic of the requested object. The controller is further programmed to display a graphic based at least in part on the location of the relevant object in the environment using the display.
