A ladder assembly for a vehicle can include: a support frame; a ladder comprising a first portion and a second portion coupled to and retractably extendable from the first portion; a linkage means coupling the first portion to the frame; and a releasable latching means arranged to releasably latch the second portion to the first portion, wherein the ladder assembly is movable between: a stowed condition in which the ladder is stowed adjacent to the frame, the second portion is retracted and latched to the first portion by the latching means; a deployed condition where the ladder is deployed from the frame and the second portion is released from the first portion by the latching means; and an extended condition where the ladder is deployed from the frame and the second portion is extended from the first portion.

ARRANGEMENT
20220290564 · 2022-09-15 ·

An arrangement for attaching a falling post on a base structure, the post being rotatably movable between a standing and a recumbent position. The arrangement includes a stand, wherein the post is attached pivotally to the stand by a pin. The stand includes at least one groove arranged laterally in respect to the post, and the post has at least one projection extending in a lateral direction from the post. The at least one groove is arranged with respect to the at least one projection such that when the stand is in the standing position, the at least one projection lies in the at least one groove, and thereby locks the post in the standing position. The at least one projection is attached to the post such that it may move with respect to the stand in a longitudinal direction of the post.

Racks supporting an item and mounting to a ladder having a vertical member. The racks include a rail, a clamp, and a hook. The rail abuts a first side of the vertical member of the ladder. The clamp secures the rail to the vertical member of the ladder. The clamp includes a plate and a coupler. The plate is disposed on a second side of the vertical member, the second side is opposite the first side. The coupler is configured to compress the vertical member between the plate and the rail. The coupler couples the plate and the rail. The hook is operatively mounted to the rail and configured to support the item.

Vehicle roof access device

An apparatus for enabling a user to access a roof of the vehicle and methods of using the same. The apparatus may be positioned within a slot located in a vehicle seat. A housing having an open end may define the slot. The apparatus may include a plate having a proximal end, a distal end, and a first stepping surface. The plate may be movable via a sliding mechanism between a stored position where the plate is positioned within the slot, and an extended position where the proximal end extends out of the vehicle and is horizontal to allow the user to step on the first stepping surface to access the roof. The plate may be rotated to be vertical such that the distal end faces up and defines a second stepping surface with increased elevation.

Step assembly and walkway for a screed

A step assembly may include a first step support member and a second step support member to be connected to a screed frame, and a step frame movably connected to the first step support member and the second step support member. The step frame may be movably connected to the first step support member by a first pin engaged with the first step support member and a slot of the step frame. The step frame may be movably connected to the second step support member by a second pin engaged with the second step support member and an aperture of the step frame. The step frame may be biased to a position relative the first step support member and the second step support member by a first biasing member and a second biasing member.
