RETRACTABLE STAIR SYSTEM
A retractable stair assembly for vehicles. In an embodiment, the retractable stair assembly may be detachable. Mounting brackets may be provided at opposing sides of a floor plate, and a one-piece mounting bracket assembly provided for installation at the threshold of a door in a recreational vehicle. Pivot plates are provided for pivotal movement of a retractable stair assembly about pivot studs provided on the mounting brackets. Pivot plates may be in the form of open jaw brackets provided at each side of a sill cover plate, to enable removal of the retractable stair assembly. A sill cover plate is provided that is shaped and sized to fit over the threshold and sill in a recreational vehicle doorway, yet allow closure of the door. In an embodiment a bottom stair is independently deployable, so the stair may be used, or not used, as may be appropriate at a given location. The independently deployable stairs are secured by an uplock and downlock operable with a latch which is biased in a closed condition at either the uplock or downlock position.
Pickup truck bed access ladder
An access ladder for access to a pickup truck bed. The access ladder includes a base having a pair of spaced apart J shaped brackets, with the proximal end having an open jaw sized and shaped so that it can be releasably secured to the pickup truck bed. The J shaped brackets are spaced apart by spacers, and optionally, a step plate. A protective mat may be provided to protect the surface of the pickup truck bed against scratching or abrasion. A handle may be provided for assisting users with balance as they ingress or egress from a pickup truck bed. A plurality of steps are affixed to the J shaped brackets. The steps are provided at fixed intervals along a pair of flexible support members, which in an embodiment, may be ropes. Support stops are used to set spacing of steps along the flexible support members. Bumpers may be provided at each step to further protect the outer surface of the pickup truck.
Truck bed ladder
The truck bed ladder is configured for use with a pickup truck. The pickup truck is further defined with a bed. The truck bed ladder comprises a collapsible ladder and a bed box. The collapsible ladder is stored in the bed box. The bed box mount underneath the bed of the pickup truck such that the superior surface of the bed box is accessible from the bed. The bed box is accessed through the bed of the pickup truck. The collapsible ladder is a structure used by an individual to change elevation. The collapsible ladder is a collapsible structure. The collapsible ladder collapses into a rectangular block structure that is contained in the bed box. The collapsible ladder deploys into a linear structure used by an individual to change elevation.
Modular rail and step system
A modular side rail and removable step system for a vehicle is disclosed. In one aspect, the kit includes first, second, and third removable steps that may be mounted to the side rail. In one aspect, the side rail main body has a channel-shape defining a longitudinal opening between an adjacent first side and an adjacent second side. A plurality of step attachment arrangements may be provided on the first side of the side rail main body to allow the first, second, and third steps to be mounted to the side rail main body in various configurations. For example the plurality of step attachment arrangements may be arranged and configured to provide attachment locations for mounting the first and third removable steps in a first step assembly configuration and for mounting the second removable step in a second step assembly configuration.
VEHICLE SLIDABLE PLATFORM ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a slidable platform assembly and a method of attaching the assembly to the front end of a vehicle. The assembly comprises a frame attachable to a receiver secured to the front end of the vehicle and also comprises a platform slidable within the frame. Various embodiments of slidable platform assembly and methods of attachment to the receiver of the vehicle are herein disclosed.

For example the plurality of step attachment arrangements may be arranged and configured to provide attachment locations for mounting the first and third removable steps in a first step assembly configuration and for mounting the second removable step in a second step assembly configuration.
PORTABLE LADDER SYSTEM
A portable ladder system pivotally mounted to a ladder support member that is configured to be removably secured to the edge of the bed of a truck trailer. The portable ladder system can be mounted to multiple locations along the edge of a bed and does not need to be mounted to a traditionally constructed stake pocket. The portable ladder system can be quickly and easily attached in a locked fashion and detached from the bed without the use of tools.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EGRESS FROM A MOTOR HOME
An emergency exit door assembly for a vehicle. The door assembly can include a door panel that is movably coupled to the wall of the vehicle. The door panel can have an inner surface and an outer surface. The door panel can be configured for selective movement between a closed position and an open position in which an opening within the wall is exposed. A headboard component can be incorporated into the door panel, and a bed pedestal within the vehicle can be positioned in proximity to the headboard component when the door panel is in a closed position.
Door mounted lift assist device
A lift assist device employs a striker pin assembly having a striker pin adapted for removable insertion into a striker on a door of a vehicle and a pivot tube. A lift assembly has an actuator boss and a pivot pin connected to the actuator boss with the pivot pin removably received in the pivot tube. A telescoping support arm depends from the actuator boss and a seat is attached to a terminal end of the telescoping support arm.
