Pet ramp system
A pet ramp system has a central pier and at least one ramp with an axle that is received in an axle receiver disposed near the top of the pier. The axle is disposed inwardly, in both a fore and aft direction and in a transverse direction, from a base perimeter of the pier. The pier's axle receiver(s) permit installation of the ramp axle when the ramp is in a vertical orientation, but the receiver(s) will not permit separation of the ramp from the pier when in use.
Mobile refueling vessel
A mobile vessel for refueling engines at remote refueling sites. The vessel has a tank with side walls and a rectangular bottom portion. The bottom portion is configured to rest on the ground and it includes an inner wall and a lower plate. The bottom portion further includes spacer elements between the inner wall and lower plate that defines a gap there between for collecting fuel that may leak from the tank.
Articulating cargo/ladder rack for trucks and vehicles
An articulating cargo rack is disclosed, and provides for easier loading, securing, and unloading of cargo, such as building supplies, ladders, and the like. The articulating cargo rack includes a lower, frame subassembly, connected to an upper, rack subassembly pivotably connected to the frame subassembly. The rack subassembly is configured to move between a horizontal position and a slanted position, after the back end of the rack subassembly is moved with a downward and rearward motion. The slanted position facilitates easier loading of cargo on to the rack subassembly, after which it is moved back up into a horizontal and locked position. The frame subassembly is configured to be secured to the frame to a vehicle by, for example, clamps or bolts.
Vehicle Pet Ramp Device
A vehicle pet ramp device is provided. The device can be stored in a cargo space of a vehicle wherein a ramp of the device can be deployed to allow a pet to walk into the trunk of the vehicle from a ground surface. A top surface of the device is comprised of a padding to allow the pet to comfortably sit or lay on the device once they have walked into the cargo area. When not in use, the ramp can be folded or telescoped/retracted into an interior space of the housing. The ramp may be repositionable via a hinge and may also be comprised of at least one side rail to prevent a pet from falling off the ramp during use.
Two shot injection molded vehicle hitch step
A hitch step assembly comprises a first shot component injection molded from a first polymer compound with a high flexural modulus and a second shot component injection molded from a second polymer compound having a relatively low Shore D hardness but high elastic compression. A post and a step body core are molded from the first polymer compound. A shell of the step body is molded from the second polymer compound and is overmolded on the step body core. The shell forms a compression zone that provides some protection against rear impacts. The hitch step assembly exhibits satisfactory resistance to torsion around the hitch receiver axis and deflection, even when a width of the step body exceeds 10.7 inches and the weight of a large man is placed on the top surface of the hitch step near its end.
Detachable footstep for stake pockets on a trailer
A detachable footstep for stake pockets on a trailer allows passengers to board and dismount the trailer. The detachable footstep includes a frame, a footstep, a slip-guard, and a connector-locking mechanism. The footstep and the connector-locking mechanism are mounted on opposite ends of the frame. The connector-locking mechanism is a mechanical lock that attaches the frame to the stake pocket. The footstep is a sturdy rigid member capable supporting the passenger's weight as the passenger boards the trailer. The slip-guard is made of high-grip materials to help the passenger gain a secure foothold on the footstep.
VEHICLE DOOR WELL STEP APPARATUS
Step apparatuses that removably couple to a door latch element (e.g., a U-shaped striker element) of a vehicle are described. A step apparatus may include a hook element that enables the step apparatus to hang from a door latch element in a vehicle door well. A step apparatus may also be able to extend through a door latch element such that the step apparatus may couple to the door latch element in an upright position. A step apparatus may include one or more than one step structure.
PERFECTED LADDER FOR MOTOR VEHICLES AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREOF
A ladder includes a pair of uprights, directed along a prevailing vertical direction. The uprights are connected to each other by at least one cross member, perpendicular to the uprights, directed along a transverse direction, perpendicular to the vertical direction. The cross member acts as a step of the ladder in which the uprights include coupling portions at the upper fixing ends. The coupling portions have two horizontal planes and a vertical joining rib, to present overall a C shape, and the coupling portions are provided with at least one fixing hole for inserting at least one fixing bolt of the ladder to an associable chassis.
LIGHTED SAFETY LADDER
A lighted safety ladder includes two rails and a plurality of rib members connected to the two rails. A platform may be provided at one end of the ladder and is located above an uppermost one of the plurality of ribs. A light source is provided on one or both of the rails; one or more of the plurality of rib members; and one the platform. The light source may be in the form of a light emitting diode (LED) strip that is installed in a slot defined in the rails, the rib members or the platform or that is adhered or otherwise secured to the surface of the rail, rib member or platform. The light source provides illumination to the rails, rib members and/or platform so that an operator may better see these components in low lighting conditions.
