Retractable stair system
A retractable stair assembly for vehicles. In an embodiment, the retractable stair assembly may be detachable. Mounting brackets may be provided at opposing sides of a floor plate, and a one-piece mounting bracket assembly provided for installation at the threshold of a door in a recreational vehicle. Pivot plates are provided for pivotal movement of a retractable stair assembly about pivot studs provided on the mounting brackets. Pivot plates may be in the form of open jaw brackets provided at each side of a sill cover plate, to enable removal of the retractable stair assembly. A sill cover plate is provided that is shaped and sized to fit over the threshold and sill in a recreational vehicle doorway, yet allow closure of the door. In an embodiment a bottom stair is independently deployable, so the stair may be used, or not used, as may be appropriate at a given location. The independently deployable stairs are secured by an uplock and downlock operable with a latch which is biased in a closed condition at either the uplock or downlock position.
Manually-operated trailer wash apparatus
A manually-operated trailer wash apparatus for washing an interior of a trailer includes a frame with a handle configured to be manually pushed by a human operator and front and rear wheels. Rotatable couplings are disposed between each of the wheels and the frame to rotate the wheels in response to the manual pushing of the handle. A conduit is coupled to the frame and extends transversely across a direction of travel of the apparatus. The conduit has a plurality of nozzles to pressure wash a surface on which the apparatus travels. The conduit receives pressurized fluid from a hose and pump system.
Quick disconnect for detachable stair system
A quick disconnect mechanism for a detachable stair system for vehicles. The apparatus includes mounting brackets for installation at either side of a doorway in a recreational vehicle such as motorhome, camping trailer, or camper on a pickup truck. Fixed plates in the form of open jaw brackets are provided at each side of a sill cover plate, to enable operation of a pivotable detachable stair portion. The open jaw of the fixed plates are pivotable about pivot studs located in the mounting brackets. The fixed plates further include an arcuate channel defined radially outward from the pivots studs. The arcuate slot is sized and shaped for engagement with a pivot lock also located on the mounting brackets. The pivot locks extend inward for sliding operation with the arcuate slot, but not so far inward as to interfere with the pivoting motion of the sill cover plate. A slide latch is provided, with a latch tongue sized and shaped for interfitting mating engagement in a latch slot located one or both of the mounting brackets, to secure the detachable stair portion when the stairs are not being used.
HITCH STEP
The present invention relates to a hitch step that may be secured to a hitch receiver tube and which may support extremely heavy loads thereon.
Step assembly and vehicle
A step assembly for a vehicle has first and second arms pivotably attached to brackets which are mountable on the chassis or body of a vehicle. The arms pivot about coaxial axes defined by the brackets. A tread is mounted on the arms. The tread is pivotable between an open position and a closed position. Respective biasing elements act between each arm and bracket to bias the tread into the closed position. When the step assembly is mounted on the vehicle adjacent to a compartment defined by the vehicle body the tread acts as a door when in the closed position and a step when in the open position.
Adjustable door latch footboard for automobiles
This invention relates to an auxiliary tool for automobiles, specifically an adjustable car latch footboard that includes a footboard, a hook, a bracket component, and a pivot. The footboard hinges on the bracket component through the pivot, and the hook is mounted at one end of the bracket component opposite to the other end of the footboard. The hook is attached to the car latch, and the other end of the bracket component is pressed against the car door frame. One end of the footboard is pressed against the hook or the car latch. When the footboard is pressed against the hook, the car latch is positioned between the footboard and the hook. When the footboard is pressed against the car latch, the footboard and the hook grip onto the car latch.
Recreational vehicle step attachment device
A recreational vehicle step attachment device for attaching a foldable step device to a recreational vehicle includes a frame. A footing base is coupled to a surface of the frame. Each base of a pair of bases is coupled to a respective one of each back corner of a pair of back corners. A pair of hinges of a plurality of hinges is coupled to a respective one of each of the bases. A folding support of a pair of folding supports is coupled to a respective one of the pair of hinges of the plurality of hinges. Each of the folding supports has an aperture and a hook. The aperture is circular and provides a space where a bolt can be inserted through to secure to a recreational vehicle stairs. The hook attaches to the recreational vehicle stairs to provide stability to the frame.
Mobile refueling vessel
A mobile vessel for refueling an engine or tank of a vehicle at a remote refueling site. A refueling station is mounted to the mobile vessel and includes a movable platform mounted to a generally horizontal deck. The platform is movable between a deployed position and a stowed position. In the deployed position the platform extends away from the deck to provide a floor for the worker to stand on to connect the fuel dispenser to the engine or tank. In the stowed position the movable platform is folded from the deployed position towards the generally horizontal deck.
COMBINED VEHICLE CLIMBING LADDER AND RECOVERY BOARD
A vehicle assembly, includes, among other things, an accessory usable as a climbing ladder to access an area of a vehicle. The accessory is also configured to be used as a recovery board. A method of using a vehicle accessory includes, among other things, accessing a vertically upper area of a vehicle using an accessory as a climbing ladder, the accessory also usable as a recovery board.
PORTABLE LADDER SYSTEM
A portable ladder system pivotally mounted to a ladder support member that is configured to be removably secured to the edge of the bed of a truck trailer. The portable ladder system can be mounted to multiple locations along the edge of a bed and does not need to be mounted to a traditionally constructed stake pocket. The portable ladder system can be quickly and easily attached in a locked fashion and detached from the bed without the use of tools.
